Race for new Home secretary hots up

The race for the new Home secretary is getting hotter by the day with each of the claimant pulling strings in the higher echelons. If present Home Secretary Dhirendra Singh is being backed by the PS TKA Nair for two years tenure, Rajiv Ratan Shah and S C Tripathi are having the support of the Cabinet secretary BK Chaturvedi. But away from this hustle and bustle is the I&B Secretary Naveen Chawla. Known for his loyaltyto the Nehru-Gandhi family for decades, he of course has the backing of 10 Janpath.

Who will be Advisor ?

Hectic lobbying is on to go as Advisor to the Bihar and Goa Governor. Currently about a dozen names including Mssrs S A T Rizvi, S N Biswas, Jawed Chaudhry, T S R Subramaniam, Sudhir Kumar, K P S Gill, Ajay Raj Sharma,K S Sharma,P P Shrivastava,Vijay Shankar Dubey and S C Tripathy are in circulation.
