The Punjab IAS Officers' Association organised an intra Punjab Cadre cricket match at lush green PCA International Cricket Stadium for promoting vertical interaction between the young IAS officers posted in the field and the others serving in the state capital. Dividing themselves into two teams , viz; Field Dynamos and Chandigarh Veterans, they struggled throughout the one day match, cheered by their family members. Ultimately, experience of the veterans scored over the energy of the young dynamos. The veterans won by 4 wickets. The veterans included Association President Bharat Bajaj, Vice Presidents B.C. Gupta, J.R. Kundal, Secretary General Sarvesh Kaushal, Treasurer N.S. Kalsi, Visvajit Khanna, Anurag Aggarwal, D.S. Bains, Sujata Dass, Raminder Singh. The Field Dynamos included Tejveer Singh, Alok Shekhar, D.K. Tiwari, Gurkirat Kirpal Singh, Priyank Bharati, Vijay Zade, Dalip Kumar. Retired Chief Secretaries Mr. P.H. Vaishnav and Mr. Y.S. Ratra acted as expert commentators.
