There are23 vacancies in CCIT exist all over india out of total of 113. 72 batch onward a few people are likely to be promoted as CCIT's. However, CAT had stayed the order and the Gujarat High court has subsequently vacated the stay. The vacancies are expected to be filled up in a months time after seeking approval from the Appointments committee of the cabinet and UPSC.

Booth capturing gave false figures as goons balloted votes themselves and had a voting ball!!!

After this show where Rob and Chuaa came out as biased moderators and Laloo as their Boss,
Nitish came out as a matured and able individual…. Nitish's gain and Laloo's loss!!!

Are Rob Roy and Shekhar planning a foray in the Weekly Print Media???
Their 'business' friendship sure does give this idea!!

PSUs ignore Prime Minister's appeal for austerity on Diwali

Dr. Man Mahon Singh, Prime Minister had appealed on the eve of Diwali that people should not give gifts on Diwali but in stead contribute the same amount to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund for use to help the earthquake victims. But this appeal did not have impact on the Central Public Enterprises. According to preliminary information available, the Managements in PSUs went as usual to distributes costly gifts from their company funds to the politicians, bureaucrats and the media as in the past. No interest was shown to effect any type of economy in spite of the Prime Minister's appeal and the bomb blasts at Delhi.
One of the chief executive who had joined the public enterprise in the Power Sector from Mumbai only recently went a step ahead to please his bosses in Mumbai and Delhi with costly gifts worth about Rs. 2 lakhs from a leading departmental store in Delhi. Apart from sweets and dry fruits, costly gifts were openly distributed to the personal secretariats of the Union Ministers without any regard to the Government instructions.
It is learnt that the Cabinet Secretariat as usual will ask the Ministries to furnish details and again circulate the economy instructions. But according to inside sources much more than these instructions need to be done. Is it possible that the lavish expenses this time may be recovered from the concerned heads of the organizations to at least put a stop in future? Only the hope lies with the Prime Minister's Secretariat.
