When rumour becomes news

The report in some quarters that Anthony de Sa (IAS-MP-1980), currently Joint Secretary in the Commerce Minstry has been proposed for the post of Deputy DG in the WTO has turned out to be a rumour. Truth is that not only has Harsh Vardhan Singh (Advisor in the TRAI) already taken over the post as far back as 1st Serptember, but that HV Singh's was the only name that was proposed by Commerce Minister Kamal Nath. Others in the running for the job were NN Khanna (retd. Commerce Secretary and currently Chairman ITPO) who was eliminated because he had crossed 60 years of age, and Mohan Kumar (IFS-1981), currently Dy High Commissioner in Sri Lanka.Infact, it was Mohan Kumar who had applied for the post.

Fact is accused do just this….. Reports that accuse them ko nahi karthe support???

His son has called Volcker a clown….. how undiplomatic???
Seems Jagat has lost it after being hit by allegation's static!!!

Just lets jog Nut's memory … sources say when he got the Mercedes car from Oman ka King,
What did Nut do with the Merc because he was told into India Merc he could not bring??

The advise given to him was to sell the Merc in Oman and buy one back home,
So did he do this …… so in imported one or locally procured one did he roam????

Sources say some time back Jagat and Amrinder's son Tikku 'Intranet' had opened an Office in partnership,
So this Oil 'bullshit' is the 'bullshit' ke iceberg ka tip!!!

Fact is Jagat has been wheeling and dealing all along,
And boasts that he has the backing to 'right the wrong' !!!

Nut says he's not received the letter form Volcker…. but letter was sent,
To the address provided by Nut in Saddam's records the letter went!!!

Hope Volcker discloses the address which was provided by Nut and Congress,
Because seems real address dono ne kiya thaa suppress!!!

Also have Masefield and Hamdan received the Notice from Volcker???
And in this entire deal who is the Joker (playing cards type….dalal)!!!

Appointing Nehra kind of Commission so that things ho sakke handle!!!

Water tight Terms of Reference …. more to hide than investigate,
And of course Investigator will be a Mate!!!!

Opposition should also formulate 'Terms of Reference' it would like,
Like why did Manmohan give Nut a clean chit and in effect say Indian Law should take a hike???

Why when payments were made Jagat was present on Site???
On many such things Opposition should demand that Inquiry should throw light!!!

Nut should himself tender his resignation,
On this there is already a lot of deliberation!!!

So till the Inquiry Report comes Nut will be told to cool his heels,
Will give him time to take stock of other deals!!!

No doubt because of his rude and acerbic attitude Nut has many enemies in Congress,
That is why many Congressmen Nut ki resignation ke liye karr rahe hai press!!!

NHPC says goodbye to Koel Karo Project

NHPC has finally decided to say goodbye to the most controversial 710 MW Koel Karo Project in Jharkhand after 24 years. The Project was handed over to NHPC in 1981 by the then Bihar Government. However, work on this project could not be started due to agitation by the local people who were strongly supported by the Missionaries. NHPC spent Rs. 100 crores on this project without even a single brick being laid. From time to time the project came up before the Union Cabinet but active construction could not be started due to difference of opinion within the Ministry of Power. As soon as S.K. Garg took over temporary charge of NHPC, he has decided to wind up the establishment at Torpa and Ranchi. This brings to an end a long controversial project which in any case had become unviable with energy cost being more than Rs.8 per unit.
