Hyderabad will have the advantage of National Police Academy, whereas New Delhi has a number of Institutions and Centres engaged in security studies. Moreover, there are a large no. of highly experienced serving and retired civil servants/Police officers residing in the National Capital Region whose experience would be a boon to the NPU. Pune is also an ideal location owing to a number of educational institutions and research laboratories located there.

Is everything fair in AIR INDIA?

V K Verma is now all set to become the Functional Director of the AIR INDIA. The whole issue is so entagled that now one would really be forced to wonder whether VK Verma, Director (Commercial), in AIR INDIA was really the culprit ?. If the concerned papers are really read, questions start coming up right from the CBI probe which was botched up right from day one. Where are the names of the beneficiaries in the commission that came out of the carpet deal? Where did the deal papers go missing? Why is the issue of the broker not taken up by CBI. And last but not least, why is the CVC reversing its own earlier stand against Verma ? Apparently the CVC is themselves not clear on the stand they need to take. Probably we are under a false impression that the CVC is sacrosanct in its own decisions. The answer to this question lies in the movement of this file within the CVC during the past 8-9 months. Who decided the fate earlier and on what basis a fresh view has been taken. As for the question who is so much interested, probably the Minister would like to answer this question.

FORUM

Why this indiscipline in diplomats ?
First Rakesh Kumar of the exalted His Excellency Service charged with abetting human trafficking, although what he is doing is to increasing the opportunities for employment. . Next Dogra our man in New Zealand is cashiered for defiance. Dogra in an open letter demands resignation of Shyam Saran the MEA top dog. Ambassador to UAE Bhandari does not see why he should not spend public funds for private parties. After all a diplomat's duty is to dine and wine and be dined and wined. RKT Arasu in Malaysia too helps in reducing unemployment, by allegedly faking documents. Then of course we had Anil Maethrani called back from Croatia after he had paid his dues to the then Minister for External Affairs who appointed him.
Why should all these skeletons tumble out of the cupboard now and all at the same time? Is it because there is a sudden spurt of indiscipline among the high table occupants? Or is it because the lid has been lifted by the PM (a wee bit) who is also doubling as the Minister for Foreign Affairs?.
May we request WHISPERSINTHECORRIDORS to enlighten us.

Aaj Ki Aawaz

Nepal's King should abdicate,
He himself is responsible for his fate!!!

Gyanendra was never a acceptable Monarch…… and his son Paras made matters worse for him!!!! His accession was because of a tragedy……and many fingers remained pointing at him and his son for the tragedy!!!! Now Nepalese do not want Gyanendra even as the titular head. Last heard Amrinder was in touch with Gyanendra advising him to become a politician and to take the reins the indirect way!!!! For this Amrinder is willing to give Gyanendra TOT !!!! As Amrinder says ' we Royals bond'!!!!! Amrinder has even offered to send Chahal to be Gyanendra's PRO…….. Gyanendra will very soon need another kind of PRO….. Packing and Relocating Officer….. and by the looks of it Amrinder too will need one after the Punjab Elections!!!

Yechury is the rep of the Maoists….. Maoists trust him,
The advent of Maoists in Nepal is something we should take as dim!!!!

Nepal could end up being as the new haven for Communism…… we'll have a Commie Nation as our neighbour…… China's new Special Administrative Region!!!! Nepal could end up as a 'Chinese takeaway'!!!! How can the Political Alliance in Nepal include the Maoisits…… not only do the Maoists have a lot of innocent Nepalese blood on their hands but in ideology are poles apart….. and though Yechury says that Maoists should be included, Maoists should be treated as pariahs!!!! And if they want TOT in this matter they should get in touch with BJP….. Indian Commies still have nightmares of the NDA days!!!!

Kushwant Singh now has started issuing 'clean chits'…of course after a couple of pegs,
The case he tries to project for Bina Ramani does not have legs!!!

Kushwant has always had a soft corner for the weaker sex!!! And after a few pegs he becomes even more biased towards the weaker sex!!! So seems Bina reached his place with a couple of bottles of his favourite Scotch…. poured the drinks for him, she's an expert …… after all she's known as the Hostess with the mostest!!! And then she shed a few tears and Kushwant made a note of this and issued her a clean chit in his column in HT!!! I like reading the HT…… and it saddens me to see the Public demanding that Bina be questioned in this matter using the page of HT which carries Kushwant's clean chit for Bina article as toilet paper!!!

Bhai ne Pramodh ko kiya shoot,
Now insanity karr raha hai toot!!!

Of course the man is insane….. otherwise he wouldn't have shot his brother!!!! His Lawyers are going to say he's insane…… he was carrying the revolver because he was getting threats….. everything to show that this was a not premeditated murder!!!! It's a huge reversal for BJP as Pramodh did have a huge role in BJP and the way the Party has reacted shows the clout of Pramodh in the Party!!!!

Milkha Singh's ego runs faster than him,
Governor , CM , Sports Minister did not call to congratulate him on his son's victory and this he considers as dim!!!

Milkha has milked his coming fourth in the Olympics to the maximum!!!! Now his son has won a Golf tournament and Milkha is treating it as if his son has won a Gold Medal at the Olympics. By equating his son's win with an Olympic Medal he hopes to milk this victory to the hilt….. wants the Government to announce awards for his son!!!! Some other Indian Golfers have won similar laurels but their Dads have not demanded what Milkha is demanding!!!!
