There is major IAS reshuffle in Punjab.Altogether 47 IAS officers have been transferred.Dr B C Gupta will be new Principal Secretary Home.

There was a news item that Cabinet Secretary is proposing to create a protective mechanism to save the civil servants from political pressure in the performance of their duties. This is yet another instance of IAS officer to protect their fellow officer of the IAS biradari. It is only the IAS coterie who while working in the State cadres develop close nexus with the politicians which is encashed in the States and while on Central deputation. Protecting the IAS against the political interference is a farce . Has the government ever thought of protecting the non IAS officers from the high handedness of IAS biradari ? These IAS officers get sadistic pleasure in publicly humiliating and demoralising non IAS officers . 95 % posts of Secretaries / Additional Secretaries / Joint Secretaries in the Government of India have been forcibly occupied by the IAS officers . Panels of Joint Secretaries and Additional Secretaries for non IAS officers have not been brought out by the decision makers ( who unfortunately are all IAS officers ) for 5 years . A large number of officers in various non IAS services particularly the Central Secretariat Service are retiring without empanelment/ placement. In the Central Secretariat Service. About 10 Joint Secretaries are retiring this year without getting empanelled as Additional Secretary even though they have worked as Joint Secretary for 8 to 10 years.
Will Prime Minister take an independent and unbiased view in the matter to safe guard the interests of all non IAS officers who have been contributing to your esteemed website.

No doubt Sonia's resignation was a master stroke….. but then there is no more tyaag left now!!! As of now Congress handled its Allies in the Sarkaar pretty well….. though this is very unlike Congress!!! At present only Commies are the ones who are perceived to be the could be topplers !!!! And post the WB and Kerela elections , if the Commies do better then there are chances that they'll start to bark and show their teeth and may even bite!!!

Why is PM sitting on Naveen Chawla's file… has to take permission before clearing such files!!
But he must act fast as this could result in giving him piles!!

That's because BJP is going to turn on the heat that PM is trying to protect a minion of 10 Janpath!!! Then BJP is going to say that PMO under Manmohan means Prime Minister only Officiating!!!
