What people say about us -

I am a visually impaired Assistant Professor of English teaching in one of the colleges in Bhopal. I use computer with a text to speech screen reading software which converts all the text available on the computer into speech. I frequently visit your portal and find it to be very informative. Comments on various day to day burning issues are very appropriate. You can also create a group in google or yahoo for Civil servants, enlightened journalists and informed citizens who could directly communicate with policy makers. In this way we Indians may make a dent into the system and a lot of things may happen. Certain issues that have been hitherto neglected may be focussed.

FORUM

90/10 principal for leading life with ease is the message emanating from all the religions. One feels good to read such a write ups but the reaction activity is peformed at the deeper level of mind - I mean in sub-conscious mind. Mind at that level does not listen to any logic but it simply reacts.

Gautam Budha 2600 years ago developed an art known as Vipassna according to which if we do not react to the situation it does not multiply. Regular and constant practice of this art can train the mind at the deeper level. Budha's main concern was to develop human mind so as to make human beings as their own controller and to make them free from distress. According to Budha ignorance is the core cause of distress in this world.

Let the top politicians and bureaucrats who are responsible for upliftment of the poor be first be uplifted with this art. If India has to be a world leader, they have to emulate Budha, whom half world even after 2600 years inspires.

Soft drinks are actually very hard on our bodies…… Pesti Cola and C(h)oke,
CSE ne bhed kholaa…. Soft Drinks pe lagni chaiye rokk!!!

Three years back CSE revealed the high level of pesticides in Soft drinks. But Cola giants were able to wiggle out on technicalities. JPC which means Joint Pardoning Committee stood up to its name!!! The BIS has got the new standards for Soft Drinks ready but for obvious reasons these standards have not been notified!!! Government is not going to do anything…. the stakes are too high….. its time we take matters in our hands. Lets make the Cola Giants mend their ways…… just stop drinking Colas…… laathon ke bhoot baathaon se nahi maanthe!!!

Rajiv Shukla aka Nanny Shukla always speaks up for the indefensible….. why???
Anyway he should realize his warped logic koi nahi karta hai buy!!!

In the Cola matter Shukla says that the contaminants are Indian…. water , sugar and other ingredients, so the Cola Companies are not adding any contaminants!! But does he realize that turning a blind eye is like adding contaminants!! 100% the cola Giants knew the level of pesticides in their products……. and they knew that as long as BIS standards for Soft Drinks were not notified they could not be touched. Seems after being kicked out of the Congress Spokesman's post Shukla has taken up a job with the Cola Giants….. has his Office of Profit been covered in the Oop Bill????

Books …… they say the pen is mightier than the talwaar,
Now PC ko padh rahi hai book ki maar!!!

In the book Vedanta's Billions authored by one R Poddar claims that Chidambaram had served as a director of a company Vedanta Resources, owned by industrialist Anil Agarwal and drawn huge perks. The author has also claimed there was a 1,000 per cent rise in the share of Agarwal's Sterlite company during 2003 when Chidambaram was on the board of Vedanta Resources. Item Boy Amar Singh says he's read the book…… actually the book was read by his Lawyer friend and the necessary paras marked. Now PC needs to PC….. Please Clarify!!!!

Does Jaswant have an ace up his army shirt sleeve????
But now his innuendoes BJP and RSS ko karr rahe hai peeve!!!

Does Jaswant have some more info??? Was the letter just a red herring??? Is there more to this issue???? Jaswant has questioned Manmohan that as Rao's FM what was his advice to Rao on going Nuclear??? Well Manmohan must have responded as an FM…. and at that time India's financial condition was very precarious and India would have buckled under the bans….. so Manmohan must have responded as an FM!!! Jaswant needs to now stop throwing straws in the air and show us the haystack from where he's sourcing the straws of hay!!!!

There is news that Amrinder wants to enact his last Hoorah!!!
Wants to exit with something so that people of Punjab can say ki Amirnder ne kuch karraa!!

Amrinder has seen the writing on the wall…… but for a miracle nothing can make Congress win the upcoming elections!!! So now he's trying to conjure up his last hoorah cum miracle!!!! He's now trying to sell to the Center the idea that if Chandigarh is transferred to Punjab he will have a stick to stand upon in the upcoming elections!! But looking at the weight of his misdeeds and inactions wonder if this stick will bear the weight???

Policy of deputation revised in CPSEs

The Government has revised the policy of deputation to Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) recently according to which Government Officers are not permitted to join posts in CPSEs on deputation basis. Government Officers are allowed to join posts in CPSEs only on immediate absorption basis. However, deputation is permitted in certain cases like Chief Executives and Regional/Zonal Chiefs of CPSEs who require continuous liaison and coordination with the State Governments and where expertise acquired in the State Government is needed for organizational efficiency. The posts of Chief Vigilance Officers are exempted from the rule of immediate absorption. Posts of Chief Security Officers and others in security set up of CPSEs are also exempted from the rule of immediate absorption subject to certain conditions. The policy stresses on the point that the criteria for exemption of any particular category of post from the rule of immediate absorption should be non-availability of suitable persons. The option for filling up a post on deputation should be used as an exception when all other avenues have been exhausted.
