Extension in deputation tenure in the Government of India will now not be easy. If new circular is taken into account the terms and conditions of deputation will specify not only the period of deputation but also the date of relieving. No further orders for relieving will be necessary

Overstay after central deputation will now lead to disciplinary action. A new circular says that it will be the responsibility of the Controlling authority to relieve the officer on the due date of the completion of central deputation tenure.

No choice while opting for deputation in GoI
The states are understood to have been told that ‘no choice' be indicated by any IPS who opts for deputation in the GoI.

Patnaik promoted in SPG
A K Patnaik has been promoted to the rank of Joint Director in the SPG. He is 1985 batch IPS officer of UT cadre.

This is the most hassled lot in the present scheme of things. An officer of any central service who is chosen for central deputation can be categorized into two:

i) Who has a God-father: In that case he/she gets a post either in any corporation or other similar entity or becomes PS to a minister. In such cases he/ she get a residence or allowed to take house on lease or gets HRA which is higher than that allowed by Government of India.

ii) Others : These officers are neither eligible for department pool accommodation or residences maintained by respective departments nor do they get residence from DOE.

This is in spite of the fact that these officers (especially in category (ii)) are chosen by the CSB based on their meritorious performance and are amongst the best rated officers in their respective services. Does the Government of India want to give such shabby treatment to these officers?

Moreover, once an officer has been selected he cannot refuse deputation else he/she gets debarred. Is this the reward that they get for being meritorious and volunteering to join the Government of India for central secretariat work. The decision makers need to be aware of the growing discontent amongst the officers on this account. Let's be really serious and rise above service politics.

His current stint as Agriculture Minister has really dented Pawar's image!!! Today he's looked on as an incompetent Minister!!!! In BCCI too he's proven that ‘money doesn't make the world go round'…… BCCI may be flush with funds but the team's performance has gone down the flush!! In his ad for UP he talks of next janam......well hope Big B's next janam is in a Madhushaala where he grows up holding in his hands a daaroo ka pyaala!!! SP is planning a huge blitzkrieg!!! Amar Singh is recruiting talent and glamour in Mumbai!!! What a colossal waste on a lost cause!!!

CWC has passed the buck to the Sarkaar!!! You have Pawar who's blaming the rise on increase in fuel costs and rising global prices!!! Sarkaar needs to take urgent steps……the first step is that Pawar needs to be shifted out from Agriculture….. Give him some inconsequential Ministry so that he can enjoy Cabinet status and continue blundering in BCCI 24x7!!! The Government needs to go hammer and tongs after hoarders!!! And Government needs to put in place measures like in Developed Countries to oversee the Commodity Futures Trade!!!

Are we a Country of underachievers…… at Asiad smaller Countries are doing better than us!!!
