Why only IAS officers ?

Why is it that the IAS officers of 1985 batch are being empanelled for the Joint Secretary level post at the centre whereas for all other central Group A services, the empanelment even of 1980 batch officers even has not been done? Why is this discrimination between IAS & Non-IAS Group A officers. Can the DOP&T not regulate it or is it that the IAS officers are only controlling the empanelment to the posts at the centre?

Why this clamour about housing ?

What is all this clamour about housing seen on your site nowadays? If the All India Services officers have a tenure pool, what is the problem that Central Services have? They should construct their own housing rather than cavil at housing provided to IAS officers. Anyway, the IPS, IRS(Customs), IRS(Income Tax) do not need housing, do they? A background check by the CVC should bear this out. The Railways and Posts already have their housing. So why create a hullabaloo where none is required?

With just 14 MPs Pawar thinks he is a PM aspirant????  And if he thinks he'll get Shiv Sena's support he should do a reality check!!!! Shiv Sainiks themselves say that Shiv Sena will very soon just be an MC ( Municipal Corporation) Party!!! And look at the apathy….. as Farmers sat in protest in Vidharba NCP Leaders flocked to Delhi to wish Pawar a Happy Birthday!!! When it comes to people's problems NCP means……. Not Concerned Party!!!

Response to the Vikas Rally in Doaba got Amrinder panicky!!! He ordered his minions to ensure that on the final day of the Yatra crowds should appear….  and lo and behold with the magic of money and dandaa crowds appeared on the final day!!! Humpty Dumpty has been boasting that Sonia and Manmohan will be addressing Rallies in Punjab !!!! Punjab is a gone case for Congress in this election, so shouldn't Sonia and Manmohan concentrate on UP!!! Why waste time on a lost cause???? And as for Amrinder he's a gone case…. even if by a miracle Congress wins the election Amrinder is out…. either way after the elections starts Amrinder's Bhaago Yatra!!!

Okay Vote Bank politics makes Politicians do funny things!!! But they should not forget the big picture!!! With UP elections round the corner the pro Majority Minority pleasing is getting more and more ludicrous…… and in UP you have Mulayam dittoing what Congress says…….. Bitta is looking for publicity and he's made the Families of those killed in the Parliament attack as his vehicle!!! And Shivraj's statement shows the pressure being applied  at the other end!! And why should the Muslims take the hanging of Afzal Guru as an anti Mulsim step???? Justice should be done……. Kalam is a man of Wisdom so why don't they send the file to him and let him take a decision…..  when required the Home and Law Ministry can clear files  very fast….. and rest assured Kalam's decision will be acceptable to all...... and if the file is sent to him , given such a scenario Kalam should and will give a decision before he demits Office!!! Don't hang justice should be the objective!!!

India selectors are a funny lot……sometimes they  can see underperformance in a jiffy and sometimes though the player under performs match after match they cannot see this!!! Why can't they drop Veeru like they dropped Gangully????? Either the Indian Selectors belong a Milk Lovers fraternity or they just pick teams by drawing chits…. parchee ( chit) system and Veeru is real lucky when it comes to parchees......... and Ganguly was going through an unlucky patch and now his luck has changed...... knowing Pawar and gang they must have devised a way to ensure that only the parchees of the players they favor open!!!
