After putting all divestments on hold a very unhappy Manmohan went to meet Sonia. And by the wonder of imagination here's what transpired.

Sonia: Namaste Manmohan Ji .
Manmohan: Namaste ji and good bye ji!!!
Sonia: Itni jaldi kya hai Manmohan ji…… you said you wanted to talk to me and now you are saying goodbye immediately after greeting me!!!
Manmohan: Madam ji mainoo deh doh chutti….. mein bahut pareshaan haan
Sonia: I know Punjabi…… you mean to say you want to go on a holiday as you are pareshaan!!!
Manmohan: No Madam Ji I want to resign…… chutti here is not temporary but permanent!!!
Sonia: May I ask you the cause of your pareshani!!!
Manmohan: Madam ji causes and not cause….. first to start our equation of you being the Political PM and me the Administrative PM has blurred and now all have started saying that you are the full time PM and in my case PM means Pass-time Manmohan!!!
Sonia: See Manmohan Ji you are an able Administrator and so we agreed that you would be the PM Administration and as you had no interest in Politics I did tyaag and took this responsibility!!!
Manmohan: Hai o Rabba……. problem is that no one takes me seriously as PM……..they say I'm PM….. Pull-less Manmohan !!
Sonia: Mama Mia….. is it that bad Manmohan Ji???
Manmohan: Of course…..otherwise why would someone want to give up this coveted job????
Sonia: Okay you'll be both Administrative and Political PM!!!
Manmohan: Really Madam……. from when!!!
Sonia: Of course….. will start after CWC passes a resolution that any PM from Congress will take Congress President's approval on all matters!!!
Manmohan: Again tripped by the fine print!!!
Sonia: You cannot get everything ….. give and take is how we work……what is your next grievance???
Manmohan: Ministers acting on their own…. like Arjun Singh, Meira Kumar, Bhardwaj ….. list can go on and on!!!
Sonia: But as these were political decisions they had my clearance!!!
Manmohan: But now with me becoming the administrative and political PM how will the system work in such matters???
Sonia: Simple……..I will be the arbitrator and my decision will be final!!!
Manmohan: Wah Sonia Ji…….. it'll be heads you win and tails I loose!!!
Sonia: Next problem???
Manmohan: When Cabinet Meetings are called many Congress Ministers play hooky!!!
Sonia: I will speak to all the Congress Ministers and instruct them that they should attend Cabinet Meetings…. but please do excuse those Ministers who have an 'excused' note from me!!!
Manmohan: Feels like I'm a class teacher and you are the Principal!!!
Sonia: How perceptive……. next complaint!!!
Manmohan : Why do I have to be the unpopular one……….take the fuel hike case…….. I come out as the unpopular guy!!!
Sonia: Popularity……. now this something I did not expect from you……. why should you bother to be popular…… you are not in the PM's chair because of your popularity…… I think with your keen sense of perception you know with whom you need to be popular????
Manmohan: What about the Allies…… now that I'm going to be the political PM too , will they come to me or continue going to you???
Sonia: No no…… this has nothing to do with the Government …. its Party to Party and as I am the head of Congress they will continue coming to me!!!
Manmohan: But then this would make be look as a faltu????
Sonia: Solution….. they'll come to me and once we decide they will come to you and when they come out of PM's residence they'll make a statement as per what they've decided with me……so it'll look that they've decided it with you!!!
Manmohan: They'll continue to take me as a weak PM!!!
Sonia: All of them will issue statements that you are not a weak PM …… I'll get Laloo to do so immediately …… then we'll work on Karuna and Pawar….. next problem???
Manmohan: Madamji all those clean chits I've given are making me look unclean!!!
Sonia: You did that for the Party and the Party is grateful to you……. you must remember that only you have the ability to give clean chits….. how can you let such a talent go to waste???
Manmohan: Madam ji I must have a say in the issuance of clean chits!!!
Sonia: Okay we'll form a panel for issuance of clean chits and you will be on this panel!!!
Manmohan: Who else will be on the panel apart from me??
Sonia: Naturally I'll be the Chairperson….. Ahmed Patel and Diwedi will be the other panellists!!!
Manmohan: Why bother Madam I think I'll let you decide!!!
Sonia: Next problem!!!
Manmohan: I hear that Arjun Singh, Fotedar, Meria Kumar, Reddy and Mani Shankar have formed a 'Dislodge Manmohan' group!!!!
Sonia: Manmohan ji its like a seesaw…. they can all sit on one end but as long as I'm sitting on the other end they are outweighed , outclassed and outmanoeuvred …… Arjun is against you because he feels the PM's post was his, Fotedar is anti establishment unless he is part of the establishment, Meria Kumar is against anyone who cannot speak at least five languages, Reddy is habituated to hunting with the hounds and eating with the wolves and Mani is a funny chap because he somehow feels that under you the Government's usage of the English Language is not up to the mark!!!!
Manmohan: But Sonia Ji without your approval not even a leaf cannot move in Congress….. so do these people have your approval???
Sonia: This is Congress culture…….. don't worry this is harmless bantering and positioning…….why do you forget my majoboori????
Manmohan: What majboori????
Sonia: You are the only apolitical Congressman….. the rest are political to their pinky fingers…… if I make anyone of them sit in the PM's chair I'll be committing a blunder…… you know the saying once it's a mistake second time it's a blunder….. do you think I would want another Narsimha Rao in the PM's chair????
