17 IAS officers to retire this month

Altogether 17 IAS officers are retiring by this month end. They are:- Mssrs D C Rosaiah (AP), B Bhattacharjee (Assam-Meghalaya), Prakash Sinha and Rishi Shankar Singh (Bihar), Reva Nayyar (Haryana), K B P Sinha and B S Mishra (Jharkhand), Ram Singh (Kerala), S Laxminarayanan, Ram Sajeevan and Hoshiyar Singh (Madhya Pradesh), P M Abdul Hakeem (Maharashtra), Santosh Nautiyal (Orissa), V K Srivastava, Raja Ram Upadhyay, S P Tripathi (UP) and Madan Singh (Uttaranchal) .

Altogether nine IPS officers are superannuating by this month end. They are ;Mssrs M A Kazmi, P A K Beck and Abdul Shaaib Khan (Bihar), P K Thakur (Chhattisgarh), Ajit Narain (HP), B C Verma and Bharesh Thakur (Jharkhand), T Correya (MP), and S C Arasthy (West Bengal).

Three IFS to retire this month

Three Indian Forests Service Officers Mssrs K Subramaniam, R K Sarkar and V K Jhadoo are retiring on July 31.

Khairwal to retire next month

Pondicherry Chief Secretary, C S Khairwal, is retiring on August 31. He is 1974 batch IAS officer of UT cadre.

Former chief secretary of Karnataka A Ravindra has been appointed vice-chairman of the State Planning Board.

In Punjab some time back Contract farming was introduced and majority of the farmers burnt their hands!!! The RIL Project they say will literally make the Farmers like bonded farmers…… they will be at the mercy of RIL!!! On the other hand the Artiyas are very soon going to be jobless!!! Amirnder of course feels he's done Punjab a big favor!!!! But Amrinder forgets that such a Project cannot be successful unless it becomes a monopoly !!!And a monopoly at the procurement end is bad for the Farmers......
