A couple of 1970 batch IAS officials are likely to be shifted in the Government of India during the reshuffle that may take place any time within 48 hours.

Bhargava to be Secretary General NHRC !

R K Bhargava is being tipped to be the new Secretary General of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC).1972 batch Maharashtra cadre IAS officer, Bhargava, who is presently Additional Secretary Law has recently been empanelled to the rank of Secretary in the Government of India.

A K Dube to move from FCI

CMD of the Food Corporation of India, A K Dube, is likely to move as Secretary in the Government of India this month end. He is 1970 batch IAS officer of Punjab cadre.Name of 1972 batch UP cadre IAS officer Alok Sinha is in circulation for the post.

ISS officer to be CSI ?

Rumours are that the Prime Minister has given a direction to Montek Singh Ahluwalia to pick up an ISS Officer as CSI. Because of the entry of Dr. Vaskar Saha, those in the race have panicked. A team of three members is reported to have been constituted to dig up some dirt against Dr. Saha. The Committee is headed by Dr. Ramesh Kolli, DDG, NAD, Sudhir Srivastava, Director & CVO and K.B. Arora, Under Secretary. The later two were in Kolkata on 19.07.2006 and the full team is at Bangalore on 20.10.2006 and 21.10.2006. The interview to short list the CSI is being held on August 12. In the fight amongst the big three, Vishnu Kumar may be the dark horse and surprise winner. Tushar Ranjan Mohanty also has not lost hope for a call for the interview.

What is Poll's goal???

This Poll only weakens Manmohan!!! Though it does show that Indians appreciate an honest and efficient PM !!! The quirky thing about the Poll is that it blames Manmohan for various issues but at the same time says that Sonia is at the helm and that Sonia should become the PM!!! And with Commies breathing down this Government's neck Sonia is not going to be too interested to become the PM!!!! What is the reason for this Poll????? Seems we will find out about this pretty soon!!!

President Kalam is not going to be happy,
Cabinet returning the OOP Bill unchanged is going to make him feel crappy!!

But UPA says its UPA…. Under Pressure from Allies!!! Congress and Commies are working out a Package Deal and this OOP Bill is a gesture of goodwill to the Commies!!! Anyway now Congress is worried how President Kalam will react??? Ignoring Kalam's queries was not right…… but then majboori ka doosra naam UPA!!!
