Sub: Operation Clean Up on Northern Railway.

The recent transfer and posting orders of Indian Railway Traffic Service Officers of Northern Railway is a great effort towards cleaning up the system which was earlier stinking. It is the Officers of Indian Railway Traffic Service who actually run the system. In this direction the four posting orders are a pleasant welcome despite a lot of political interference in transfer and postings of key posts on Northern Railway. Ateesh Singh, IRTS of 1994 batch has been posted as Sr.Divisional Commercial Manager of Delhi Division. Neeraj Sahay, IRTS of 1994 batch has been posted as Sr.Divisional Operations Manager of Lucknow Division. Gulshan, IRTS of 1994 batch has been posted as Sr.Divisional Operations Manager of Ambala Division.And Karan Singh, IRTS Officer of 1998 batch has been promoted as Sr.Divisional Commercial Manager of Ambala Division. All these Officers are considered very honest and upright. What is more interesting is that their predecessors are known to be officials who always managed their postings through political pressure and networking. It is generally being said in Northern Railway corridors that the present General Manager of Northern Railway Sh.Vinoo.N.Mathur and the present COM (both IRTS Officers) had to take a lot of pain and resistance in removing the earlier officers and posting the present lot of upright and honest officers. Therefore its a right step in the right direction and is more heartening to know that this has happened when Sh.Laloo Prasad is the Railway Minister. So hail Laloo!!!!
