Did CBDT violate transfer policy ?

Are the transfer orders issued by the CBDT for Additional Commissioners of Income
Tax violative of the Tansfer Policy issued by the CBDT ?.
There are more than 70 cases, of the 277 transferred, in which ttransfers were not
due but they were done.
Secondly, some transfers have been done within 2 years . Only two years
back there were oficers who had been transferred at a huge cost to the Govt
and now find themselves again in the transfer list. So much for austerity.
Thirdly the spouse ground has been used to favour some whereas it has been
used to transfer out some.
And lastly the transfer policy guideline is for both direct recruit and promotee
officers in Group A. There are many group A officers (perhaps not even
one) who have been transferred out inspite of spending more than 15 years in
a station.

FORUM

Why the post was denied to a lady ?

There appears to be some sadness about having missed the opportunity to appoint a lady to the post of the Cabinet Secretary. What else can people expect from this gerontocracy other than appoiniting doddering old dodos to high positions.

R Sundram

Merit has been rewarded
Apropos B K Chaturvedi getting another extension of a year as Cabinet Secretary, I think merit has been rewarded and he will do a great job. He has distinguished himself earlier also and will continue to do so, regardless of undue criticism.

Sridharram

I admired the person if he really rejected extension. It reflects in his personality should give credit to him.

Aaj Ki Aawaz

Every six months Amar Singh raises a shindy to cover his majnoo-giri and dalali,
Starts pointing fingers at Congress….. just to cover his own kartoots which are abs kaali!!

Again Amar Singh has started pointing fingers at Sonia and Congress and saying that Tehelka has carried out a sting on him!!! Amar is always up to some 'badmashi' and so this is his way of trying to cover up in case some sting has been carried out!!!! He's out of the Anil loop and has only Big B to hang on to, though some say even Big B keeps him at an arms length and only Jaya listens to her Dewar Amar!!! The 'Amar Gate' tapes should be made public…… let the public come to know the real face of Amar Majnoo Singh Dalal…. somebody should file a PIL that we have the right to know what Amar was up to…… he's a Public figure so he is answerable to the Public!!!!

Commies are suffering from acute EC allergy……. even the name makes them itch,
About Commies EC just bitch and bitch!!!

We cannot have two laws in the Country. One for Jaya and one for Somnath Da!!! And the law was effective when Somnath Da filed his nomination…. so he cannot hide behind technicalities !!!! Commies say that EC is biased against them!!!! EC has its own take on emoluments whereas Commies have their own take on emoluments!!!!! Commies may go in for some bartering , after all their Russian Bosses do this all the time… barter trade is a Commie speciality!!!!!

Karunanidhi celebrated his birthday …….. he gave the gift schemes a spin,
Said that these were birthday gifts from him with a grin!!!

But the schemes will need financing and so Karuna will be going to Delhi to meet PC to request him to PC…. Please Cough-up!!!! Karuna has to supply Rice at Rs. 2 / Kgs and also Colour TVs……PC should advice Karuna that TN Government should buy all the old TVs that people give in exchange offers by TV manufacturers…. these TVs should then be handed over to the people of TN…… and then charge them a very high special TN Entertainment license fee to cover the cost of the dole!!! On the Rs. 2 / Kgs rice scheme Karuna has an ace up his sleeve……. I'll just give you a hint…. he is going to rob Peter to dole out to Paul!!!! Pawar is trying his best not to meet Karuna…… Karuna wants rice and at present Pawar is totally engrossed with wheat on his plate!!!!

Laloo has a unique system of hire and fire,
Camera ke saamne fire and then quietly re-hire!!!

Laloo took the cameras with him for a checking raid !!!! As usual on the spot he fired a couple of people and these people will go underground for some time and will surface back at work in a month or so!!!! By this Laloo keeps all happy…… thus is Laloo's ishtyle!!!! The Unions know that Laloo's 'on the spot firings' are just drama baazi and so they too do not react!!!! Otherwise you think the Unions would take these firings lying down….. they'd give Laloo a bloody nose!!!!
