What a irony of the system that the Department of Pension and Pensioners' Welfare was a creation of Mr. Rajiv Gandhi. He knew the plights of pensioners and retiring persons. Now this Division is under sheer negligence at the hands of all the Governments at the centre and posting as AS(Pensions) is considered as punishment. No officer is interested to joint here, if any one joins that is only to get foodhold at Delhi and move to any other Department/Ministry. What Rajiv Gandhi did is being undone. Messers Laxminarain/Brahma/Bhave/Khan and now Rajni no one completed his period and moved out either to an other posting or to his parent cadre. Government should be serious about this it concerns lakhs of pensioners and their dependents.

Rather than telling one lie after another Vajpayee has shown the right way!!!! Mahajan Junior has erred and there is no doubt about this!!! Stories about his wild ways are well known…….. and so are stories about Moitra's sexual preferences!!! There is no doubt that Mahajan Junior was in the wrong company and now his elders in BJP will be his guides….. this is the least they can do!!! Apollo Hospital has lost face because of this episode….. patients henceforth will demand an Affidavit from Apollo that the results have not been tampered with!!!! Seems what was given to them was heroin and they took it presuming that they were taking cocaine…. the quantity and the mode of intake did them in!!!! It would be wrong to say that Vajpayee has come out in defence of Mahajan Junior….. Vajpayee has only shown how the matter should be handled!!!! A lesson for all…… in today's age it is difficult to hide things…. so its better to come out with a plausible excuse for the truth rather than hiding the truth!!!!!

The Agreements or Letters of Understanding are heavily loaded in favour of the Companies entering Punjab!!! The Land is being given on a ' no strings attached basis'!!!! No commitments or deadlines . Like he plans to give Anil Ambani Group 5000 acres to attract an investment of Rs. 5000 crores. If you look closely the market value of the land proposed to be given to Anil Ambani on subsidized rates is about Rs. 3500 crores!!!!! Thousands of acres are being allotted for Projects for ' Agriculture value addition' ….. with land exiting agricultural use agriculture output is bound to fall……. the means sure do undermine the end!!!!
