Dear 'Moron Viewer' u r dead right that we in this 21st century are still leaving in a enviornment which does not inspire any confidence to the ordinary citizens of the state. our bureucracy keeps on living with the 'RAJ MENTALITY' with a ruler-ruled syndrom governing the public relations. The systems have been so dvised that parochial service identities rather than merit governs the governance today. We blame politicians for many ills facing our society wheras reality is that even the politician of this country has been literally reduced to the stooge of bureucracy as it has permanent control over power while politicans come and go. U can see how badly Manmohan Singh has failed to carry out his much fancied administrative reforms. Though politics succeded in bringing two know specialists as PM and President but therafter what? The bureucrat still runs the show. Consider this the cabinet of the country today have more specialists than the ministiries headed by specialists as secretary to govt of india. Even the websites like whispers promote the rule of sycophancy to IAS led bureucracy by creating a larger than life image of the bureucrats. The intellecual depeletion of bureucracy is visible from the remarks like 'tom dick and harry' indicating the disdain with which it treats the other organs of governance. With the weakening of political will and the growing nexus of neta & bureucrats u can only live with fear and may hope someday we would have a leader of some substance who will change the way things are. Till then 'good luck'!!!

PC has to agree to Duty reduction!!!! Imagine we pay 57% by way of Duties and Taxes when we buy fuel...some day these high taxes vace to come down !!!! Taxes on fuel in India must be the highest in the World…. and so are our Fuel prices!!!! But then because PC has his eyes on the Sensex and Nifty worm ( The Worm) on his PC he does not want to do any thing that will upset The Worm….. FIIs will not look at this too kindly!!!!
