Ramasami to be Secretary Science & Technology !

Chennai based Scientist T Ramasami is being tipped to be the new secretary in the Department of Science and Technology in the Government of India.

DMK or AIADMK, Srinivasan is next Chief secretary ?
Whether DMK wins the ensuing polls or AIADMK emerges victorious, the next Chief Secretary of the state will be Srinivasan. If DMK wins, it will be the Petroleum secretary M S Srinivasan and if AIADMK hold the fort, 1971 batch TN cadre IAS official T R Srinivasan will get the coveted post. 1970 batch IAS officer Pawan Raina is also a hot contender.

Bobby Mishra may be next petroleum Secretary ?
In case the Petroleum Secretary, M S Srinivasan, goes as Tamil Nadu Chief secretary, Bobby Mishra returning from IMF is all set to replace him. B P Mishra is 1969 batch IAS officer.

In forwarding the often narrated argument of rich experience of IAS it is often forgotten that other services also have equally rich experience. However IAS systematically ensures that this experience is negated when it comes to posting of officers of other services. Infact even in the fields which were traditionaly handled by central services for example Financial Advisor role in ministries have been siphoned off by the IAS. Hence clouding what is a simple 'power grabing' exercise by IAS as 'rich experience' has no logical basis. If it is not simply power grabbing than why IAS officers are not showing much interst at the deputy secretary/director level postings? While 99% of secretary level and 90% of JS level posts are filled with IAS at DS level there share is about 35% to 40% that too restricted to some cosy ministries. Why is this trend? They r simply not intersted in DS level where they know that they shall have to slog more while not getting the same amount of facilities that they enjoy in the states at this level.

And then if there is anti incumbency in TN then Pondicherry will go the same way,
Would mean then in Pondicherry AIADMK could hold sway!!!

Well if this happens Amma will buy a palatial house in Pondicherry and rename it 'Poes Garden' and shift to Pondicherry for the next five years!!! Because she knows that if DMK comes to power they will recruit female weightlifters into TN Police and then have her lifted, like TN Police did to Karunanidhi during her regime.

Amrinder in his tenure has lived like a King……. the joke in Punjab is that if Amrinder had just curtailed his expenses, Punjab Government could have given a Rs. 100 Bonus to the Farmers!!! And now for the Mega Projects he had sanctioned, Amrinder has taken on the role of the Pollution Clearing Agency!!!! Amrinder feels he is a law unto himself…… well by the looks of it just for some time….. after that from the law he'll be hiding himself!!!!!
