I find that your site thrives on gossip and the unsavoury details provided by vested interests. When you enjoy so much popularity among civil servants and even among the common pubilc the domain should be used meaningfully to create and sustain the ongoing reforms process in the administration rather than merely focus on the soft underbelly. Another issue is the undue importance given to trivia such as IAS vs others. You should be aware that these days it is the person and his ability (right or wrong) who matters in civil services rather than the mere fact of belonging to a particular service. A SDM getting posted in Thiruvulluvar is accorded more importance in your site than even the post master general being shifted. This reflects a provincial mentality on your part which is totally out of date even in the kind of power equations you seek to portray

Actually PCS officers are appointed DMs in other states besides UP. Orissa is an example. There is no harm if they are appointed DMs but most of them are not respected by their juniors from the same servise.
