CAT stays transfer orders of Addl CITs

In a major indictment of the transfers effected by the CBDT of Additional Commissioners of Income Tax ( on 31.05.2006), the Principal Bench of CAT in Delhi has reportedly indicted the CBDT on several counts . They have stayed the transfer orders of all the Addl.CIT's who havd gone to the CAT. There are more than 75 more Addl/Jt CIT level officers who are similarly placed and had not approcahed the CAT and are likely to do so now.This is likey to open a Pandor's box. CAT has also held that the transfer s effected were against the norms. It was also commented that the CBDT had no tenable argument to offer.

Jharkhand short of bureaucrats

Jharkhand is these days short of bureaucrats. While it has only 100 IAS officials as against the sanctioned strength of 123, it is also short of IPS by 31. There are only 79 IPS officials in the state as against the sanctioned strength of 110.

Learn something-CBDT and CBEC Members

This is apropos to the message posted by Ravi Chandran. Without sounding personal, it is mentioned that Members of both the Boards have never gone out on deputation. That is why they do not realize that without the name being called the officer has absolutely no chances of making the grade. This is true for even the IAS which manages to corner most of the posts due to their superior networking. Perhaps the Members in both the Boards need to realize that what damage they are bringing upon their own service. The cadre which is mandated to collect revenue today is de-moralized and de-motivated. It does not need knowledge of rocket science to realize this.

After trying to strike out on your own why are you indulging in rona dhona???

Pawar tried to form a Third Front….. he's made Kurnakaran an ally….. so now when Congress has gone alone in the Maharashtra Local Bodies Polls why is he crying???? He should be thankful that on account of Coalition compulsions he's been able to retain his Cabinet berth. If a Congress Minister had bungled the way Pawar has bungled he or she would have been sacked!!! And after the appointment of his daughter as his heir there are rumblings of discontent within NCP!! And remember disgruntled NCP Partymen will make a beeline for Congress…. aghe aghe dekho hotha hai kya???

And he's more worried about the projected tallies!!

Amrinder's been cancelling visits and rallies left and right!!!! He's aware that wherever he goes there is going to be resentment so he's playing it safe ….. he visits or attends rallies where hired crowds , Congress workers can be mobilized and with the local Police are able to give some show of strength!!! And then he's worried about the negative Publicity he gets for such visits and rallies!!! Seems for his mass contact programme stops you'll be surprised to see the same people over and over again…… hired crowds, Congress workers and Police in mufti!!

Yes the SP gang has prospered….. but otherwise UPites have suffered……. Goonda Raj, horrible Governance, electricity woes, no vision…… the list can go on and on!!! Big B will be canvassing for SP too….. tacitly …….. and of course his rallies will start with Madhushala and end with Madhushala……. public in UP should tell him ‘bandh karo yeh Madhushala, bhar gaya hai UPites ke sabbar ka haala'!!! Their haala of woes overfloweth!!! George of course will be SP's guided missile against Sonia…. that is all he's going to talk about!!!

Shibu and Ekka are itching for the CM's chair!!!! Mirandi and Mahto itch has been reduced by Deputy CM ‘Itch Guard'…… temporarily placated!!! In fact Mirandi wanted to be the Joint CM!!! Khoda had better get married fast….. the way Khoda's Ministry is delicately placed it will topple sooner than later!!!

The SEZ dream is nothing but a nightmare,
Take a reality check and it'll give you a scare!!!

What's happening??? In the name of SEZs land is being mopped up!!! Farm Land is being stolen!!! And where are all the manufacturers going to come from!!! India 's Labour costs are high…. India currency is not cheap……. we are also on the wrong side of the hump!!!! Ultimately quite a few SEZs will just fall ‘flat'!!!!
