It is amusing to see the debate on who is more corrupt rather than who is corrupt. One thief calls another a bigger thief in defence of his own. Ha...Ha....Ha...

The officers of the Revenue Services are indeed grateful to your site for bringing to the fore the real situation prevailing in these deptts. It is great service done to the officers who are now getting suffocated with the happenings. If it was to curb corruption that transfers are made then is there any answer to post the known corrupt officers in the sensitive posts? Will the Finance Minister please take note of the happenings and take remedial action at the highest level? Persons at the Board levels prefer to keep their eyes closed to these things and do what suits them. Will the FM and MOS look into the functioning of the Boards?

The corruption in IRS becomes visible and so talked about because the affected are elites of the society, whose voice are herd loud and clear. And rightly the govt. has taken steps to control it, they are under the direct gaze of the central agencies. While corruption in IAS is not noticed because at junior levels they their corruption hurts the poor and voiceless people and at senior level it is seen how the policies are made to benefit some industrial house. Had IAS been honest India would have been a great country, there would have been no kalhandis, farmer suicides not to mention. While the revenue services they work on a target and each year they overachieve their targets. it speaks for itself
