Now PM awards for bureaucrats

Manmohan Singh government has decided to introduce "Prime Minister's Awards for Excellence in Public Administration" to recognise extraordinary and innovative work done by Central and state government officers. The awards will recognise outstanding and exemplary performance of 25 civil servants - their contribution towards implementation of schemes and projects, efficiency of public delivery system, tackling corruption, reform of procedures and strengthening institutions will be taken into account by the committee to be chaired by the Cabinet Secretary while deciding the awards. The last date for receiving nominations will be July 31 and the awards will be announced on the following Republic Day.

IFS is ignored lot

Though the IFS, like any other AIS can boast of having comprising of members selected through UPSC and having various P.hDs, IIT Engineers and M.Scs, but most of the State Governments have failed to realise their potential for posting in secretariats and other departments. Minister of environment & Forests, Govt. of India has already written to all the Chief Ministers of the States to consider the same. But only the time will tell whether IFS Officers get their due in the States or not.

Seems it was put through to Kalaam that if the 'horse trading' is not stopped tomorrow this would be blemish on the Governor's and President's Office….. because this matter has been brought to dono ke Notice!!!President Kalaam took Manmohan's word…… and Manmohan says he took Buta's word….. in all this there was one gentleman who needed to verify things and put his stamp…. Shivraj Patil!!!! Seems Patil was too busy cleaning his armory while all this was going on!!!!

BJP is going hammer and tongs after Congress's man in EC…. Chawla is under attack,

BJP says that firstly Chawla was not even qualified to be appointed as an EC…… and now there is info about MPLAD largesse being given to trusts run by Chawla and his wifey!!!! They say Chawla ruled the roost during Emergency……Chawla's past associations with Congress and misdeeds have come out in the open…... they say Members of the EC have to be beyond suspicion!!!! Seems Congress is going to loose its man in the EC…… Operation EC or Eject Commissioner will be completed soon. ECs have to be Erect Commissioners and not ECs Enthusiastic (in a biased way) Commissioners!!!!

As a Muslim he should be more careful when he uses the Belief of another religion as a subject. Why doesn't he stick to Madhuri and his horses!!!! And he's done it in the past too…. so this time it cannot be a mistake!!!! Why do these artsy types not have the sensibilities not to hurt people's sentiments in their pursuit of wealth creation!!! An apt punishment for this dolt would be to ban him for painting for at least a year!!!

The man was mixed up with goons and was involved in their extortion rackets and in their inter gang rivalries. He laundered his ill gotten money through his biwi's businesses!!!! After the tapes of his misdeeds have come to light they should lock him up and throw away the key….. he should be made gaya Naik……but this will not happen…. this is the time when political connections work behind the scenes!!! And who is footing Daya Naik's legal tab…… if he is doing it on his own then this becomes another example for his disproportionate assets case!!!!

During the bowling action examinations seems Shoaib has a different action and while bowling in matches he returns to his vataa ( stone throwing) bowling action!!! And is the Third Umpire sleeping…. can't he see what all are seeing…… or does he only see reruns when Umpires ask him to do so and the rest of the time he's dozing???? There should be an ICC rep to check his bowling action during matches!!!!

People like Gowswami where hand in glove with Laloo and his gang so goons were not disturbed in their pursuits!!! Hope Nitish delivers on this front. Because this is the stumbling block for progress in Bihar….. Nitish has to realize that passing in Law and Order subject is mandatory because if he ducks in this subject he automatically ducks the exam!!!!
