Out of 254 officers in the Offer list for deputation to the Government of India in 2005, the following was the composition.

Just goes to show that mid career IAS officers are hesitant in coming to Delhi. Out of the 52 last year, 27 were from North East/UT/JK cadres. Thus over 50% of the IAS DS/Directors in Govt of India have no exposure to mainland India! And four-fifths of the DS Directors do not know how Indian districts work. Is it time to think of special incentives at DS/Director level to IAS officers to come to Delhi on Central Deputation?

14,1981 batch IPS officers empanelled

Altogether 14, IPS officers belonging to 1981 batch have been empanelled to the rank of Joint Secretary in the Government o India.They are Mssrs:-Qamar Ahmad and M S Sandhu(UT), Rajeev Mehta (Assam), A K Khan and A K Dube (AP), Satish Chandra Jha (Bihar), Rakesh Maria and M C Borwankar (Maharashtra), Khinya Ram, Malay Kumar Sinha and Kamlendra Prasad (UP), Manoj Bhatt (Rajasthan) Nazrul Islam (West Bengal) and C Bala Subramaniam (Manipur-Tripura).

Avasthy to join NCRB !

Sudhir Kumar Avasthy is likely to join the NCRB. He is 1974 batch IPS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre.

Kishore joins GMR Group

S G K Kishore is reported to have joined the GMR Group in their corporate group to look after airports and roads. He is 1989 batch IAS officer of Kerala cadre.

Samir Sinha is PS to Kyndia

Samir Sinha , formerly DC, Kamrup, Assam, has joined as PS to PR Kyndia, Minister Tribal Affairs and DONER. He is 1994 batch IAS officer of Assam-Meghalaya cadre.

He wants to keep the Shiv Sena identity….. as without this identity he is zero!!! First he considered Shivraj Sena……. seems Raaj was not inclined to this name as it looked as if Shivraj Patil , also from Maharashtra, was the Boss!!! Then he thought of naming his outfit as Bala Shiv Sena….. he thought that with such a name he'd be able to show that this was Balasahib's Sena….. but gave this name up as bala also meant kids and this would have led people to believe that this was kids ki Shiv Sena. The he thought of Raj Sena…… but then he felt people would have drawn inference that this was The Raj's (Brits)Sena…. so he gave it up??? The he thought of naming his Party as Marathi Manoos Sena….. but then this would have alienated the non Marathis… so this was also binned!!!!! Then he came up with Maharashtra Nav Nirman Sena (MNNS)…….this is Marathi Manoos Sena with a palatable name!!!!

Hope this is not part of the Nuclear Agreement …. that we would have to accept such trash??? Brinda should take these dolts to Court.
