Lacking moral courage to even write his full name, to quote his words that "they are the successor service to the ICS and are born to rule"
reflects his self opinioned high and mighty attitude to rule in our
democratic set up in which we are known as 'public servants'. My brief comments on his snobbish & immodest remarks are as under.
AK says that, ". IAS officers come from varied backgrounds. This is not true of other services like the Foreign Service, IPS or Customs, IRS or IAAS etc, as these people come from the same background. All of them." We all come from the same socio economic, cultural, educational, & ethnic background of a democratic republic. What needs to be checked is his background that has spewed venom of hatred on other services supporting & supplementing each other in their assigned areas of responsibilities following the ethos of respecting each other. AK's attitude if allowed to prevail will wreck the steel frame.
AK is living in the days of British Empire when others were slaves &
Only one service created to rule served the interests of the Empire because he believes that he belongs to the successor service to the ICS and is born to rule. Such a despicable attitude of looking down upon others deserves to be condemned by all right thinking people irrespective of the service to which they belong.
AK seems to be totally ignorant that officers of various services have
Field postings & have public dealings & gain experience of public needs
Falling within their respective roles & functions & it is this collective feed back & recommendations from such diverse sources which contribute in policy formulations. AK has shown his brawns rather than his brain otherwise he would have known the policy formulation exercise.
AK's statement that, "the IAS officers serve in the remotest part of The country, this is not true for other services" if taken on face value will mean that IPS & Indian Forest Service cadres do not exist N.E and J&K, & nor there are establishments of IAAS, Customs, IRS in these states. Officers of these services serve in their own humble ways in these parts of the country but do not brag like AK that he is the only one serving the country.
Last but not the least the remarks of AK that, "there are no other
Services in J&K or North East, the IPS officers who lay down their lives in these places do not serve the country at all" is an insult to those officers who have given supreme sacrifice in the service of the country & laid down their lives on the call of duty. To say that," who lay down their lives in these places do not serve the country at all" is dishonor to the honor given to them posthumously by the First Citizen of the Country on each Independence & Republic Day.
People like AK are doing greatest disservice to the Country by
Spreading such divisive canard. I doubt whether he himself or any one in his family is an IAS officer otherwise he would not have become the self appointed torch bearer for propagating the supremacy of this service at the cost of demeaning other services.
