Topping the list to succeed B K Chaturvedi as next Cabinet Secretary is Ms Reva Nayyar.Ms Nayyar who is presently Secretary Child and Women Welfare will be the senior most serving officer at the time of Chaturvedi's retirement.In the case of Ms Nayyar ,it would be the first time that a woman IAS officer would be in the consideration zone for appointment as Cabinet Secretary.Will the 1968 batch IAS officer Ms Nayyar be a first in the history of the civil services to make it ?.

B K Chaturvedi to be Governor of Bihar ?

Grapevine has it that Cabinet Secretary B K Chaturvedi is being appointed new Governor of Bihar.

New cabinet Secr decision by April

Decision on new cabinet Secretary is to be taken by April but whosoever gets the coveted post will have to join as OSD because the tenure of the present one is expiring in June. As per the existing practice successor of Cabinet Secretary B K Chaturvedi will be appointed sometimes in April and will join the Cabinet Secretariat as OSD and take over as Cabinet Secretary on July 1.

Though the Judge did mention that he knew that the son of the IPS Officer committed the crime but because of lack of evidence he was letting him off!!!! Here too the case was botched up at the investigation and trial levels!!!! The case is now pending for hearing in the HC!!!! Another case of justice being delayed and denied!!! In the Jessica case the Party List should be made Public so that we come to know who the cowards are!!!

Continuance of Venod Sharma in the Haryana Cabinet is not right,
He has misused money and his Party's might!!!!

Either Sonia is helpless or she doesn't care!!! There can be no other explanations for Venod's continuance in the Haryana Cabinet!!! The man subverted Justice and despite public demand that he should be sacked he continues to be a Minister….. shows you his clout!!!! His continuance in the Haryana Cabinet is giving Congress's High Command a bad name ….either her remote does not work on Hooda, who has made his feelings on Sharma explicitly clear, or she feels this is not worth bothering about!!!!

Prior to making his resignation announcement from Mulayam Amar had got a 'no'!!!

Basically Amar is not trying to whip up pity for himself…. not heard of people pitying a tout!!! Delays in appointments irks power minister ?

Union Power Minister, S.K. Shinde is reported to have expressed his disapproval at the way Ministry of Power has been delaying appointment to key positions in the Power
Public Enterprises. In a recent review of working of his Ministry, the Minister found to his surprise that the Ministry of Power has been dilly-dallying in filling up key vacancies. For Example, BBMB Chairman Rakesh Nath joined CEA in September, 2005. That vital post is lying vacant even though recruitment to this post is to be made by a search committee of the Ministry of Power.
Two vital posts of CMD and Director(Projects) of NHPC are lying vacant for almost a year.
The Minister has asked the bureaucrats of his Ministry to immediately put up proposals to him without any further delay.
