It is saddening that most of the opinions on the forum are basically focusing on the intra-bureaucracy problems and hence get limited to discussions on the stranglehold of IAS on the system and prevalent corruption in the IAS. However larger issue is of administrative reforms as behaviour of the other services are also not above board whether it is IPS IFS IRS or for that any other central service. The dictum is that if there is opportunity than encash it. The bureaucratic behaviour is no different from the behaviour of MANU SHARMA that if you have control and power in the system than do what u want to do disregarding any norms of civilized behaviour. Today u pickup the newspaper or watch any news channel they reflection of system failure are immediately visible whether it is MCD mess, Jessical Lal case, Food scam or host of other cases. Again the question is whether our system is going to be run only through judicial authority? whether the bureaucrats are going to be relevant tomorrow? The redemption of the situation can only come via a sincere approach towards administrative reforms riding above the parochial service related identities.

Sonia's resignation has taken the Opposition by surprise,
They did not expect that like this to the occasion she would rise!!!

They expected Congress to pass the Ordinance. There is no doubt there was talk of passing an Ordinance and all Political Parties had shown their acceptance….. of course that did not mean that they would stop hitting at each other on this matter!!!! But seems Sonia was against this right from the start. There is no doubt she knows that she'll get re-elected and come back….. but standing up does take courage!!!! She really converted the Office of Profit issue into an Issue of Profit!!!

Amar Singh doesn't know what to do,
Once again he's lost mooh!!!

Amar Singh say, "What's the point of resigning after they have been exposed," …. Well Amar Singh should have actually resigned from Politics after the CDs exposed him….. but he hasn't done so..... he's the last person who can talk of ethics and probity!!! Considering options is no crime….. and Congress did consider the option of bringing in an Ordinance but Sonia shot it down……. Mr. Tout cum Majnu should realize the proof of the cake is in its eating!!!! And now he says he will not resign……….. so Amar comes out with more goo on his face!!!

What is now emerging is just a clown act!!!

Congress supporters thronging 10 Janpath and looking for camera crews so that they can shed croc tears in the hope that Madam may see them doing so….. Congressis beating their heads and chests adding to the sights and sounds!!!! Gurudas Kamat has resigned …… why???? He is in Parliament for the people … has he taken the permission of his electorate before doing so….. or do they not matter!!! In case he wants to show his support for Sonia there are many other constructive ways of doing so!!! And then Congress sends Madam 'hello hello' Renuka to speak for the Party on TV…. this Lady's shallowness is so obvious that all that she comes out as doing is damage to Sonia and Congress!!! Sonia may have been genuine in her resignation but her supporters have given it a sham hue!!!

Left MPs must quit…… they always boast that they are the engine for propriety and probity,
Their taking them same stand as SP is a real pity!!!

This sort of stand was expected from SP or Sinister Party, but Commies also taking the same stand shows that for them propriety and probity is just skin deep!!! Somnath Da who in the past was most vociferous in demanding resignations from MPs who had flouted the Law is now behaving like a 'bheegi billi'!!!! And Somnath knows that he can resign and get re-elected and become Speaker again….. but lacks the guts to stand up and be counted!!!!
