1963 IAS-an unusual batch

T K A Nair of 1963 batch (Punjab Cadre) is one of the most powerful person in the country today. He is presently the Principal Secretary to our PM. And if officers like T N Chaturvedi (1950 batch), who is
Governor of Karnataka, or Dr S.S.Sidhu (1952 batch),who is Governor of Manipur, are excluded, Nair is the most senior IAS officer drawing Government Salary today.
Look at the following features of 1963 batch:
It contributed TWO Ministers to the Union Council of Ministers; Krishnakumar (Kerala Cadre) and Bhagey Govardahn (Orissa Cadre).

It contributed TWO Cabinet Secreraries: Prabhat Kumar (of UP cadre, who subsequently became Governor of Jharkhand) and T R Prasad (AP cadre). Most batches do not contribute even one (1962 batch, 1964batch, and now 1967 batch, all whose officers have retired without any one getting the Cabinet Secretaries post).
And quite a few of this batch were Chief Secretaries. For example, in Karnataka, there were only TWO officers in 1963 batch and both of them became Chief Secretaries; B R Prabhakar and J Alexander (who also became a Minister after retirement.)
Which other batch can claim such a distinction !
