My family and I are the regular readers of your website. It has authentic information on various issues concerning the Public Governance and common man. Please don't be discouraged by few of those who are exposed in your columns.
The issue of retirement age is very important and affects the country as a whole. With the improved life expectancy it is time to increase the age to 62 or even 65. Country has invested hugely in the education and experience building of our scientists and technical personnel. They should not be retired at 60 and being fit in body and mind the country should benefit from their experience as there is no substitute for it.

SC faces a big question on naturalization

The Supreme Court of India (SCI) on a petition relating to naturalization (citizenship) & foreign-born people being allowed to hold Constitutional offices may highlight a major lacuna in the Indian Constitution. Two-member bench of the Apex court comprising Chief Justice K.G.Balakrishnan & Ravindran has rightly pointed out "this is a major Constitutional Question." When Delhi High Court dismissed the petition then it was widely believed that the issue is now settled. But, what legal pundits lost sight of was that: the Apex Court can only decide Constitutional Question. In a country where dual passport or citizenship is not permitted, the Constitution will have to be interpreted in the context of Vienna convention & International practices.

Why this kind of situation in CBDT ?

If what Jagdish thinks is true then it is something Max Waber could not have thought of !!! The lower rung of bureaucracy is managing to dictate terms or influence the decision making process in the CBDT? All other services are indeed controlled by their own cadre. Really lack of a transparent and feasible transfer policy , and transfer orders throughout the year, is one of the main hurdle in that department. Every year your site is coloured with the details of those who remain above the transfer policy and stick to DELHI and MUMBAI even after seventeen- eighteen years..

Job opportunities are shrinking

While retired government officers are being re-employed in various commissions, regulatory authorities, tribunals etc., job opportunities for young are shrinking in government sector. If we indeed had such an indispensable pool of experience in retiring government officers who need to be again employed, our country would not have been in such a condition occupying a place of pride among most corrupt countries of the world.
Sudhir Chopra

It's a surprise

While most of the services spend their time bickering with each other on your site, it is surprising that an IPS officer has a good word to say about an IAS officer.

What an AIDS awareness programme

Seeing Richard Gere in the AIDS awareness program on stage with Shilpa, many would want to spread AIDS awareness if only.....

Ravi Pipal

It's a waste of public money

In my view this a sheer waste of public Money. This is purely a personal matter of Big B. Why channels are wasting there valuable time for this affair boring the viewers. Really speaking no body is much concerned about this, when there are so many burning problems facing this country

Aaj Ki Aawaz

Why is the Media crying out ' Sonia in trouble'????
Hasn't Sonia pricked the 'no foreigner for PM bubble'???

And who leads the Congress only Congress decides,
After all by a Party Constitution the Congress Party abides!!!

Don't forget one of the founding Father's of the Party was not a Desi!!!!
And a couple of Presidents were also Videsi!!!

So there are precedents,
That Congress has had not only people of foreign origin but even foreigners as Presidents!

Rahul Baba has raked up a hornets nest,
Congress's response is …. Rahul Baba knows best!!!

One thing is for sure if in UP Congress improves its tally,
Credit will go to Rahul.... they'll say to tell the truth Rahul did not dilly dally!!!

No doubt this is a part of the big picture Rahul is trying paint,
But this way he'll also have to own up for the taint!!!

Confucius says…. In Politics when you garland yourself to take credit,
He continues….Be ready for the Public to remind you of the discredit!!!

Because these are two sides of the same coin…..political kudos and shame,
When you take credit please be ready to take the blame!!!

And the blame list is long,
With the good Gandhi family has also done a lot of wrong!!!!!

Shouldn't Manmohan have said Rahul is India's future???
Rahul ko UP ke saath kyon kiya Manmohan ne suture!!!

Rahul has no ambition of becoming UP's CM,
His ambition is to become India's PM!!

Rahul has to keep in mind that he's under intense scrutiny or study,
Be it his statements or language of his body!!!

Sarkaar has petitioned SC….. please vacate OBC Quota stay,
On working its way around the SC Order Sarkaar is working night and day!!!

Sakraar has told the SC that SC erred in scrutinizing OBC data…SC is not amused!!
In fact SC on the Sarkaar's observation would be bemused!!!

At one place Sarkaar says 1931 Census was a OBC exercise and in the affidavit says not so,
No wonders SC opined that ' back to counting and data collection you go'!!!!!

Mr. Honesty is the alias given to VP,
Now they'll change it after he joined hands with DP!!!

D.P Yadav has done it all,
And to join hands with him VP's conscience must have taken a huge fall!!

'With D.P. hamaari Party mein hai dumm' sings Raj Babbar,
He's asked the Party workers to spread this khabbar (news)!!!!

Now there's news that SP in many Constituencies is facing revolt,
And despite all measures a number of 'horses' ne kiya hai bolt!!!

This is the reality of life….. Amar and Mulayam are attending shaadi,
Whereas in UP SP ki ho rahi hai barbaadi!!!

SP workers are in a tizzy…… more like headless murgahs,
Now they looking for divine intervention and are running to Temples and Durgahs!!!

Reliance seems to be saying that on SEZs it will have the final word,
And Reliance has done the 'ground work' says a little bird!!!

Reliance's stand is…… we'll decide size and location,
And we'll not look to Government for any allocation!!!

As per Reliance's philosophy big is always better… and biggest is best,
In size Relaince always tries to outdo the rest!!!!

Begaani shaadi mein Besharam Abdullah diwaana,
To get into Ash - B junior's marriage uninvited Media is looking for every bhaana!!!

Big B's banished Media….. doesn't Media have any self respect???
At least from Media's reaction self respect nahi ho rahi hai detect!!!

He's banned Media saying it's a Private Affair,
Why doesn't the Media black out the marriage and say ' As if we care'????
