Before having a debate as to whether the age of retirement should be 60 or 65, one should know that there have been a lot of discrepancies between the central government and state governments. At the out set, such discrepancies should be addressed to and there should be absolute parity in service conditions among all the state governments and the central government.

Let us not disservice to the nation by glorifying Admiral Nanda. In fact the formidable Pakistani "Ghazi' had almost entered the Vizag port and the Indian navy had not even detected it. But to give undue credit to Nanda would be incorrect.
