Why this hue and cry about Chandrasekhar ?

Why this hue and cry about Shri Chandrasekhar being tipped for Cabinet Secretary. When Yashwant Sinha was Finance Minister, all Officers from Bihar were appointed to plum posts. In fact, almost all posts of PSs to Ministers were cornered by people of Bihar. What is wrong if a Keralite or for that matter a Tamil Brahmin is appointed as Cabinet Secretary? Are these posts the exclusive property of BIMARU States? These are people of mean mentality and have double standards.

Radhikai

Chandrasekhar as Cabinet Secretary

Such parochial considerations should not come in the way while selecting the topmost bureaucrat! The most suitable and deserving candidate should be chosen bearing in mind seniority and merit!

H G Obhrai

How can we call Chandrasekhar competent ?

How can we call Mr Chandrashekhar competent? During his tenure as the Revenue Secretary an unimplementable transfer policy was conceived, approved and 'implemented' in CBDT. The implementation as observed by even CAT was not on merits. Will he not share the burden for leaving the Human Resources of Income Tax Deaprtment in a mess? He has to .

Jagdish

Chandrasekhar is a good man

Yeah definite preponderance of Mallus no doubt but no one objects when UP cadre rules or Kayasths hold sway huh? Give others a chance besides which Chandra is a good man.

Retirement age should be lowered to 55

I fully agree with the views of R.Singh. Why do the oldies want the retirement age to be raised to 62 or 65? What kind of rich experience are they talking about? The experience to indulge in petty politics or the experience of accepting bribes? If they are so willing to share their rich experience they can join some NGO and do something worthwhile for the society. Infact to enthuse new blood in the rotting government departments, the retirement age should be lowered to 55.

Girgit or Chameleon badal gaya rangh,
Now on Emergency Laloo Girgit hai Congre
ss ke sangh!!!

Emergency ke liye Congress ko kiya thank,
Maybe this is another Laloo prank!!!

He says that Emergency kick started his political career...actually Emergency's shame,
Now for Laloo entering politics we know who to blame!!

Laloo is the long term ill effect of Emergency…. probity and proprietary ka bane,
He continues to be you know where a pain!!!

Think about this….. had there been no Emergency Laloo would be a gawala,
In Patna he would be known as Laloo doodhwala!!!

But then we also have to thank Emergency for giving Indian politics an entertainer,
So in one way on account of emergency Indian Politics has also been a gainer!!

The Quota bee in the Sarkaar's bonnet is creating a flutter,
When questioned on Quota UPA Ministers start to stutter!!!

Like they say jaldi karti hai spoil,
SC's Order for Sarkaar is like a painful boil!!

IIM's no longer have any autonomy….under Administrative control of HRD Minister,
I'm sure IIMs and students look at this as something very sinister!!

Though Arjun says that IIM's are not being coerced,
Only Minister's will is being enforced!!!

No decision was taken in CCPA…… all that we got was an excuse,
Absence of Paswan and PMK leaders kiya Sarkaar ne as an excuse use!!

All that they are doing is trying to delay the inevitable,
And this is really regrettable!!!

Arjun is triyng his best ki till May 8 addmissions ho jaye stall,
On all the Allies karr raha hai Arjun call!!!

The Industry should try to save the IIMs from the Sarkaar's hold,
Knock the Sarkaar out of the IIMs cold!!!

Manmohan dekho what's happening to education in Sonia's Raaj,
Aathi nahi kya tumhe laaj???

Kalam deserves to be President again,
Okay his continuance would be education's loss but it would be Country's gain!

If there's a BSP BJP majority in UP then Kalam should throw in his hat,
And I'm sure with him Vajpayee will have a chat!!!

Congress will be doing itself a favour by supporting Kalam's second baari,
Will save itself form within and with Allies a lot of maara maari!!

In Lucknow Sonia was in glee to get such a huge adaab,
Such an adaab she had not dreamt in her wildest khwaab!!

But will each adaab convert to vote,
Should think about this before her hopes ho jaye bloat!!!

And is Amar Singh sick because of too much merriment or worry????
Or was it because of interviews ka flurry!!!

Some say Amar will adopt Saharashree Roy's mode and spread the word that he's sick,
He hopes after SP's loss with a sick man fight koyi nahi karre ga pick!!

Giving Big B and entourage special treatment in God's House was wrong,
As they got special Darshan the queue of devotees outside got long!!

Big B's taken his privacy penchant into the House of God,
On those who allowed this the Temple should use the rod!!!

In the House of God all are equal,
Who are these fools who made things unequal????

BPOs mein China is moving in fast,
India's BPO run is not going to last!!!

Chinese have corrected their accent and they no longer say Flied Lice,
Now they pronounce it correctly …. Fried Rice!!!

And customers now know that work is outsourced,
The accent on the other end is forced!!!

The Chinese Yuan also gives China a huge advantage,
China is fast moving on to the BPO centre stage!!!

Dullo is demanding that Amrinder come to Punjab and helps out,
And he blames Amrinder for Congress's rout!!!

He laments that while they sweat it out Amrinder is living it up,
And on the sly confirms Aminder being besotted with a Paki journalist as no gupp!!!

They say the combined worth of India's NRIs exceeds economy of Mera Bharat Mahaan,
And NRIs are spread all over this jahaan!!

Punjab should tap this overseas resource,
And from Punjabi NRI's funds karre source!!!

The Mantra is let them take up projects on their own,
Should not be that 'please give Punjab a long term loan'!!

Confucius says….. Get investments on merit and not pity,
He continues…. Never compromise on your dignity!!!
