Astonishing views of Ms. Leena.
Is it really the MPs or their muscle power - "Goonda Raj" - which gets them the authority to represent people? If they are really responsible and 'accountable' why are they indulging in human trafficking misusing their authority. True they know the pulse of the people, that's how they manage to regain their seats despite being 'Criminals/Murderers/Rapists'. And by the way even this salary they call as 'peanuts' that's why they give themselves a raise every odd year. No wonder people like you justify and support their 'Monkey' traits.

Appointment of Savitur Prasad
This review of appointment of Savitur Prasad as JS Urban Dev Ministry is a sign of turbulence in IAS cadre. This JS post is high profile and ACC may not digest a non IAS to occupy it and therefore this event was inevitable. Surely, we have not come out of British legacy where certain post were not allowed for Indians and only white were deemed fit for that. Isn't IAS following the same trend? Again, I don't intend to trigger a debate on IAS/NON IAS, but I wish to propogate Darwins theory, which says, "survival of fittest" and who so ever is fittest should get the assignment.

Emerging Super Power or Soft State!!

First, we had the Chief of Army sob (hush! cry baby)on all TV channels because of some misplaced sympathy with terrorists, and now newspapers report that the head of Government confessed to his foreign counterpart that he "spends sleepless nights" on account of some blokes who are accused of a heinous crime against society!!

This raises two questions: first, are we in the right hands and have we got the right persons in place? Will we have 'sobbing' & 'sleepless' leaders in the event of a serious crisis, or gritty men who can handle tragedies, crisis and success with aplomb!!

And, second, can we please keep such sentimentalism within the privacy of our homes!! You see, people out there are watching and evaluating our responses, and such 'admissions' embarrass the average self-respecting Indian to no end. Our policy makers don't seem to come out smelling like roses - on the contrary we seem to propagate the adage "Aaa bael (bull) mujhe maar"!

We must respect our democratic institutions

I really appreciate the data provided by Dhavan on MPs' salary and perks. But It is quite interesting and praiseworthy to see comments from others about Indian Babudom. We must learn to respect (and criticise in healthy ways) our democratic institutions and people therein. Unfortunately MPs are targets of every one. But compare the performances of MPs and Babus. There is a need to make omnipresent bureaucracy (judiciary and media too) more accountable and transparent

I am only stating truth

In the Army Headquarters, in the name of security, various drills, preventive actions, cyber security, etc. are carried out every now and then. But unfortunately, it is sheer mockery. The officers in uniform are very well trained to avoid such drills and moreover they are generally let off compared to civilian officers. Almost everyone carries a mobile phone whereas most of them do not have permission to carry them. Even officers of the rank of Major General and above have to seek permission before they can carry mobile. Similar is the case of usage of laptops, pen drives, internet and so on which are used discreetly without proper permissions. Another shocking feature of the functioning of uniformed officers is their tendency to go in for redundant and avoidable huge expenditures in the name of MIS, IT, projects, consultancies, etc. and they do not like anything less than crores of rupees for an order. I would rather say gross financial mismanagement by these greedy uniformed officers who are supposed to take care of the nation from our enemies. And mind you I am only stating the truth.

Rs. 1200 crore loss in wheat import contracts…… Pawar ko karro sack!!!!
Let him concentrate on BCCI and from Cabinet his boriya bistar karro pack!!!

In March Government announced it'll buy 5 lakh tonne of wheat,
Many say why did the Government let out this unnecessary and untimely bleat???

And then why not pay our Farmers the import price… why undervalue their produce!!
This deal stinks to heaven high is what I can deduce!!!

Pawar will requisition the services of Clean Chit Man,
Clean Chit Man will clear him and say no to demand ki Pawar ko karro can!!!

Pawar has still not answered to the usage of Mundhra Port for import of wheat!!!
When questioned by Media he just beat a hasty retreat!!!

Offloading wheat at Mudhra Port caused a loss of 800 crores….. even Laloo's said this!!!
Insiders say 'I'll see Laloo' Pawar ne kiya thaa hiss!!!

Pawar has made this look like a cricket control spat!!!
But fact is Pawar's file of misdoings is indeed very very fat!!!

Congress's goal is now to ensure that Pratibha gets 6,31,464 votes... poore mark!!!
Prior to election for safety sake questionable MPs and MLAs ko hotels mein karre ge park!!!

Shekhawat is free to woo MPs and MLAs...... nobody can bar him!!!
Though Congress takes this as something grim!!!

Abhishek and Sibal are burning the midnight oil to find a way to bar him from wooing!!!
Fact is all that Congress can do is resort to booing!!!

Shekhawat has declared his assets.... Pratibha will not do the same!!!
And that's indeed a crying shame!!!

She's going to say its not mandatory to do so!!!
And her already plumetting image further down it'll go!!!

Dasmunshi has advised Karat not to jump the gun!!!
For Karat's statement that VP should be apolitical Dasmunshi used this pun!!!

One must not forget the many left leaning intellectuals call themselves apolitical!!
In actuality like in mind in deed too they are totally political!!

Congress is worried that Commies may want one of these guys to become VP!!!
This is making Congress feel creepy!!

Somanth Da had already taken it for granted that he'd be the VP!!!
No wonders nowadays he sounds weepy!!

What is Sukhbir Badal's stature that his photograph has to be displayed in Minister's rooms???
Seems he wants to ensure that in every Minister's room his presence looms!!!

Punjab's FM Manpreet Badal has cousin Sukhbir's mugshot on his room's wall!!!!
Ministers Sukhbir ko 'chotta CM' karte hai call!!!

Punjab Sakraar desperately needs to prioritise …… prepare a Vision plan!!!
On Ministers working to individual plans there should be a ban!!!

Why is Hooda shuffling the State's Officials so often… still not feeling in command???
As you recall some time back he'd made to the States Officials ' respect me' demand!!!

At present Bhajan and Chautala command more loyalties from Officials in the State!!!!
And this has put Hooda in a worrisome state of late!!!

Hooda needs to change from his casual kurta payjama and running shoe look!!!
And to give him a Neta cum business look koyi image maker karre book!!!

Harry Porter is a classical example that when fate wills mud turns to gold!!!
A ludicrous piece of work that has become a hit with young and old!!!

Jabb Khuda meherbaan toh gadha bhi pehelwaan…… its just fate!!!
Otherwise Potter's nothing great!!!

You may try your level best but success comes only when it's okayed by the One at the top!!!
