In India 50 people call shots in corridors of power
Believe it or not, the intelligence agencies in India have prepared a list of 50 people across the country who are supposedly the "big brothers for political masters". The list has been understandably prepared at the behest of Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. Some of those incumbents who figure in the list are quite interesting. For example in Rajasthan there is a Mumbai based businessman who has diplomatic passport & and evinces an active interest in cricket. He can get anything done in the state of Rajasthan. Similarly, in the state Bihar there is another businessman, again from Mumbai with interests in auto industry, who is calling shots. A shipping & trading magnet can get any goods delivered in Gujarat. A controversial builder in Mumbai known for "slum development" is considered to be top most influential person in Maharashtra. In Haryana, the most powerful person is a Delhi based suave & a refined builder. There are cabinet ministers whose sons & daughters are considered to be movers & shakers in territories of their Dads & Moms. A promotee IPS officer calls shots in Uttar Pradesh. The Prime Minister has also been provided details regarding proximity of these people to the PMO as well as 10 Janpath. Another interesting thing which emerged from this list is that all of them have got excellent relations with sleuths of Income Tax (IT) department.

One ICS officer lives in London
An Indian ICS officer is still alive in London at the age of 94. He is Muhammad Azim Husain, former Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs. He is of the 1936 ICS batch, Punjab cadre and after independence joined the Indian Foreign Service, transferring from the Information and Broadcasting Ministry where he had handled external publicity as Deputy Secretary. He was Deputy Secretary, Joint Secretary, Additional Secretary, Foreign Service Inspector and Secretary in MEA, Deputy High Commissioner in London, Ambassador to Egypt, Lebanon, Ireland, Spain, the Holy See (Vatican) and Switzerland, some of these being concurrent accreditations and was Deputy Secretary-General of the Common Wealth in London from 1970 to 1978. He is the son of Sir Fazl-i-Husain, leader of the Punjab Unionist Party who was the Member for Education, Health and Lands and Vice President of the Viceroy's Executive Council at the time of his death in 1936.

Congratulations to Ms Anita Das Secretary AYUSH

Congratulations to Madame Anita Das for getting the AYUSH International Status. I will request that the Ayurvedic Colleges in India are so planned that only Ayurvedic Education is imparted to the students in the colleges and hospitals. Many Ayurvedic colleges in India have started facilities in their hospitals under Allopathic system of medicine where students are not able to get the training under Ayurvedic system of medicine. More over Ayurvdic colleges and hospitals have started facilities under Allopathic system such as Dental, eyes, operation theater, CT scan, MRI, labs etc. by engaging the services of allopathic doctors where by Ayurvedic students are kept out of these departments and hence debarring them of learning the Ayurvedic system. I will request Madame Anita Dass to get issued the necessary instructions to all the Ayurvedic colleges not to engage any allopathic doctors in such colleges and only Ayurvedic expert and Vaids be appointed to Ayurvedic education to students so that the ayurvedic students get the proper and required education under ayurvedic system of education. With this India can produce the best Ayurvedic Vaids to treat the paitents.

RCF's CMD gives dividend cheque to Paswan

R.C. Jha, CMD, Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilisers Limited (RCF) has handed over a dividend cheque worth Rs. 51,03,14,900 to Minister for Chemicals & Fertilisers and Steel Ram Vilas Paswan. According to Jha the RCF has become one of the top 10 PSEs on the basis of excellent performance. He said a DAP Plant is being set up in Rajasthan at Kapasan near Udaipur by a Joint Venture Company Rajasthan Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilisers Limited (RRCS). RCF is also participating in revival of 2 closed fertilizer units. He further said RCF is coming out with Australian technology to produce load-bearing panels from its waste product Gypsum. These panels will substitute conventional bricks in building houses. These houses will be stronger more economical and less time taking in construction than the conventional houses.
