The Department of Personnel ,Government of India has reportedly asked the AG of Andhra Pradesh to stop paying salaries of those IAS officers holding ex-cadre posts created in violation of rules. It has asked the state government to prune the ex-cadre posts.

Property prices boom in Bhopal

Madam Bedi is one of the dedicated, sincere and honest officers randomly seen now a days. Any body of her stature and class would have been the ablest police commissioner. Ignoring her seniority and dedicated service to the Nation for the coveted appointment was perhaps not justified. Government has utilized its mighty powers to ignore her claim. The issue is now dead and should not be raked up by anybody when she has already taken a decision according to the dictates of her soul. Please don't pass any comments on the subject now.
