Blame game begins in Congress

In my view the top boss and super cop should be VK Misra and Gian Prakash FA & CGDA respectively who are known for their honesty, integrity and dynamism but moral bankruptcy.

Think and decide about IAS and IRS

I would like to put only few points for observation / comment:
1. If IRS officer were so intelligent and competent why they did not get at the top in the merit of UPSC exams. Only top in the merit gets IAS.

2. IRS officer are trained to deal with only wealthy people. Have any one of them ever interacted with poor/ rural/ illiterate people of the country? Their range starts from people worth at least Rs. 1.5 lakh who file Income tax return.

3. IRS officers' life starts from metro cities and ends in Delhi. Have any one of them ever seen places called Purulia in West Bengal, Mahamaya nagar in UP and like that.

4. IRS officer are mostly seen in clubs and five star hotels in the evenings. IAS officers in their first 15 years work in districts, take care of the law and order problems, rural development, and backward, poor and illiterate people. Even an IAS officer who was borne and brought up in Mumbai or Delhi sees the real India in villages for at least 15 year.

5. I know many of my friends in IRS who never moved out of Delhi or Mumbai.

6. Only IAS officer can be said to be an integral part of India's democracy because they have been trained, given responsibility to work with and for people. Politicians are representatives of the people and IAS officer have to work with them. IRS officers can continue to take care of Tatas and Ambanis.

7. As for as getting 1 crore in private jobs by IRS officers can speak about the favours done by them to those who can pay that much. IAS officer can not get and neither he dreams to get in crores because he favours those who can not file Income tax Returns.

If IAS posted collection will come down

Rajeev Rattan's suggestion should be taken very seriously. He has suggested that IAS officers should hold top posts in Customs and Income Tax. I think this is the only solution. One can be sure that once IAS officers are posted the revenue collection will only come down. Perhaps the Customs and Income Tax Department are the only two places which have still not been spoilt by the IAS. Well said Rajeev Rattan. Keep it up.

Aulakh is the right choice

NPS Aulakh, honest to the core, straight forward, intellegent and hard working officer if appointed DGP of Punjab Police, the department will gain reputation in public and among all the residents of Punjab. I hope the New Punjab C.M. will appoint him only as the new DGP of Punjab Police.

The Government of India has selected NBCC amongst the Top Ten Central Public Sector Enterprises consecutively for the year 2004-05 & 2005-06. NBCC has also won the SCOPE Turnaround Award 2005-06.
