Glorifying names -tough job, for sure
Calling - has always been the favourite pastime in all Government offices. Glorifying names, therefore does not come easy with Civil Servants. Our attempt at naming the nameless and faceless Super-Boss and Cop has miserably failed to evoke any response. Some one in our office observed that if we had asked for the most incompetent and the most corrupt, people would have fallen over each other to name them. Didn't this happen in UP long back? We have decided to leave it at No search for heroes in the world of bureaucrats ,therefore that's the end ,for once and all.
However, only one name was received from UP from a couple of respondents. And the name is 1974 batch IAS officer Atul Chaturvedi.

Vice Chairman of the Central Administrative Tribunal in Tamil Nadu Justice Shanmugam has been appointed acting Chairman after the retirement of Justice Panigrahi.

Tripathi to be JS DoPT
Pradip Kumar Tripathi is being tipped to be Joint Secretary in the Department of Personnel. He is 1987 batch IAS officer of J & K cadre.

Who will be Chief Secretary of Chhattisgarh ?

Gill is new DGP of Punjab
Though the names of 1971 batch IPS officer K K Attri and 1974 batch IPS officer Mohammad Izhar Alam were also sent , the Election Commission preferred the name of 1973 batch IPS officer Rajdeep Singh Gill for the post of DGP of Punjab.

Will UP CS and DGP go Virk way ?

Praise of Modi is deserved
Praise for Nnarendra Modi is not undeserved. Proof of the pudding is in the eating. Gujarat has made long strides towards all round development of the State under the able and dynamic leadership of this great visionary. While the private sector has made a bee line for investment in Gujarat, the PSU's are bloating with cash reserves. All cogs in the Governmental machinery in the state are in good shape and performing well because of their constant oiling by the foreman. It is unfortunate that certain sections in the media and components of the UPA hounded him and tried to blacken his face but careless of the barking he continued his journey for the unprecedented upliftment of the land of the father of the nation and the Loh Purush of the country. Carry on Modi sahib.
