Air Marshal Major to head Air Force
The Government has appointed Air marshal Fali Homi Major, PVSM, AVSM, SC, VM, ADC, presently Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Air Command, as the next Chief of the Air Staff with effect from the afternoon of March 31. The present Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal SP Tyagi, PVSM, AVSM, VM & Bar, ADC retires from service on March 31.

It is now believed that M K Sinha will be the new DG of the RPF. He is 1971 batch IAS officer of Bihar cadre. It means A K Abrol will move from the RPF.

Jain to be Secretary Border Management !
Grapevine has it that Special Secretary in the Ministry of Defence A K Jain is being appointed Secretary Border ,Management . He is 1973 batch IAS officer of West Bengal cadre.

In case S K Vij gets promoted, Girish Bhatnagar is likely to be posted as General Manager of politically important East Central Railway at Hajipur. Currently, Bhatnagar is GM of Wheel and Axle Plant.

Spate of Holidays
The Babus are very happy during the recent festival of less working hours and series of holidays in Delhi. Thanks to the patriotism at gun point. Due to well solemnization of a safe and over secured Republic Day celebration, all Government offices around Rajpath had been ordered to be sealed and everyone was asked to vacate by 1 PM on 25th. The ever obedient servants followed the directives in toto if not well in advance to cooperate with the seal makers and gladly and merrily went home and God knows where. Next day being 26th is a holiday followed by 27th (Saturday) and 28th (Sunday). Wait for something more. On 29th (Monday) the office will open only to be sealed again at 12 noon due to safe celebration of Beating Retreat with the backdrop of a setting sun in the Raisina Hills. Still more. Next day (30th) is also a holiday due to Muhurram and Martyrs' Day as a part of much practiced secularism. Some babus will reluctantly come to office on 1st with a grim face. But the smart ones had already planned to take leave for three consecutive days from 1st to 3rd so that they can have a sweeping leisure for 10 days from 25th to 5th with uninterrupted munching of mooli parantha and gajar halua basking in the winter sun. Calcutta peers are some steps ahead. After two holidays at week end on 20th and 21st some of them came to office late on 22nd only to go early as Vasant Panchami was on 23rd and they had to organize the puja for the goddess of learning. 24th was the day of immersion and 25th there was a strike call throughout the state by transporters. (Bengal strikes are always called only on a day preceding or following a holiday whatever be the party line). Rest as stated earlier. It is indeed - what Bengal thinks today, India thinks tomorrow.

Singla and Sidhu met for a debate,
And all that they did was spew at each other hate!!!

Singla has a record of getting personal during arguments and he's got into public spats in the past too!!! This time he kick started the hate parade by calling Sidhu a murderer !!!! He knew that Sidhu wouldn't take this lying down!!! In fact now some are saying that Singla did this on purpose as he knew Sidhu would just fly off the handle and the debate would be put in jeapordy!!! Actually after the dismal performance of Amrinder Sarkaar, Singla must have felt that a debate would just worsen things for him. Don't know why Sidhu did not see this ploy and take things in his step and bring up issues that the public was there for and expose Singla… why a WWF……. Words Wrestling Fight!!!

Congress's Manifesto in Punjab shows they've simply lost it!!!
Akalis Congress Manifesto ko six ke liye karre ge hit!!!

The Manifesto talks of Punjab Government saving Punjab's Waters and improvement of relations with Pakistan!!! Congress is reponsible for the SYL Canal and when work on the SYL Canal was inaugurated Amrinder had done the ceremonial digging……… on the improved links with Pakistan….. well the links only exist at the top level……. common man is least bothered and least affected!!! Congress has also promised to match Badal's promise on subsidized Atta and Dals!!! Punjabis are questioning that Congress is in power in the Center and also in Punjab, so was Congress sleeping all this time as they bore the brunt of the price rise??? What Congress seems to be forgetting is that Akali Dal will be judged by its manifesto and Congress by its performance in Sarkaar…. this is always the case for the Party in power and the Opposition!!!! Next time it will be the other way around... Congress will be judged by its Manifesto and Akali Dal by its performance...... this Badal should not forget!!!

Balasahib ka screw ho gaya hai dheela,
Because of delay in Afzal's hanging why on President Kalam why is he going la peela!!!

At a Public Rally Balasahib said that because of his long hair Kalam had a problem with his vision!!! And fact is that despite his well cut hair and prescription glasses Balasahib has always had a vision problem!!! Had this vision problem not existed there would have not been a succession fight between his son and nephew!! Shiv Sena would not have been in the doldrums!!! Though its rumoured that in the Mumbai MC elections Shiv Sena is not going to do too badly...... its the anti incumbency of the Maharshtra Goverment at work.... wake up call for Congress .... NCP is Not Correct Party to ally with!!!

Is Rajnath scared of Modi???

Or is this just one way of endearing BJP just prior to the UP Polls to the Muslim Vote Bank??? Because on the basis of performance Modi is the only BJP CM whose ratings remain high…. and in BJP Modi is no lightweight!!! Gopinath Munde's inclusion is not surprising at all……. connection continuity!!! Now BJP has the UP elections in its sights……. just on piece of advice…… any tacit understanding with Mulla Mulayam will hit BJP hard in the long run!!! Its better to wait it out rather than tacitly allying and getting the enemy into power!!!!!

Rather than worrying about her Mangal Dosh they should be worried about her past Dosh.... past dosh has the potential of creating problems in the marriage!!! And mind you this Dosh will definitely come in play later in their married life!!! Indian men are not that broadminded that they forgive and forget the past affairs of the wife!!! The reel kiss of Ash with Hrithik sent the Bachchans into a tizzy.... just an example!!! Confucius says……Past will definitely haunt and future of Ash and Abhishek's marriage will depend on how they handle the past presently!!!
