Good move to increase the retirement age

It would be a good move to increase the retirement age upto 65 years for all bureaucrats. In earlier days a person used to join government service generally at the age of 24 years. Now the trend is first to aquire professional qualifications and then join government service. Officers now join at the age of abot 27 to 30 years with professional qualifications like LL.B, MBA, Engineering, Medicine etc. Consequently their life gets settled around 62 years instead of 60 years. Further, even the average age of an Indian has now enhanced because of good medical aids and an officer continues to remain active and mentally alert upto the age of 70 years. This already stands proved as the teachers and bureaucrats in CIC, Tribunals, judges etc are already working upto the age of 65 years. Therefore is would be a correct move to increase the retirement age of bureaucrats upto the age of 65 years.
Deepak Singh

In praise of the President

Yes. It should be done before he relinquishes the Post. He has been our best performing President. If the government and the political parties all over India, just take up only 10% of his suggestions for phased and planned development of India in the next 10 years, India would be free of many ills like water shortage, unemployment, poverty etc. He has truly acted as a Statesman and not a politician or a bureaucrat.

Aaj Ki Aawaz

UPA is becoming more and more fragile,
Congress needs to take a reality heck….. pause and think for a while!!

With majority reducing UPA allies are going to get more and more demanding,
Alliance will become more and more difficult commanding!!

UPA is now looking more and more like Under Pressure Alliance,
And now there's bound to be more and more defiance!!!

Its evident that now within the Treasury Benches there are trenches,
As we all know in the thirst for power only power quenches!!!

Of course on other hand power is also a big bond,
Reason enough that for the UPA the Allies may remain fond!!!

And another factor is that Allies are not doing too well,
In their strongholds people in all probability will tell Allies to go to hell!!

Karuna, Pawar and Laloo are on sticky wickets in their strongholds,
All three have lost holds!!!

And remember Commies are now loosing ground,
Mamtha is bound to do well the in the next electoral round!!

Captain Amrinder Singh has gone AWOL….. deserted his moondas (boys)!!!
Ran away after threatening that all troubling his moondas would be made toondas (cripples)!

It was known that if he lost elections he would run away,
Because he knew that for his acts of omission and commission he would have to pay!!!

He knew what he had sowed he would be made to reap,
And it's alleged that in scandals he's neck deep!!!

Now he and Chahal will send Medical Certificates to be excused from Court appearances,
But fact is guilt is obvious by their sudden disappearances!!

And see the gall of Amrinder…. he says he's not responsible for Chahal's actions,
He's not only responsible for Chahal's actions but also on Chahal's ways his inactions!!

Was he blind to Chahal's rocketing affluence??
And the way Chahal misused his influence!!!

Rahul must put more emotion in his speeches…. can he take tuitions from Vajpayee!!!
Maybe he can make this request to Vajpayee via his Mai ( mother)!!!

Emotion in speeches is the namak, mirch and masala….. emotionless one's are feeka,
Speeches should be abs theeka ( spicy)!!!

Sukhbir Badal's line that was a hit…… in this age of buy one and get the other free,
He had said , "If you vote for Akali candidate then for free you'll get me (him)."

These are the kind of things that make people sit up and take note,
And these are the things that remain in their heads when they vote!!!

Spicing up speeches like Amar Singh way is not right,
Elections should not be personal slanging….. it's not a personal fight!!

Kamalnath ji please think before you speak,
Like they say look before you take a leak!!

His one statement is at odds with the other,
First he says Land Acquisitions (LA) and SEZs cannot be linked and then LA's are a bother!!

Even on Retail he indulges in talk that is double,
For UPA this man orally is causing trouble!!!

Could the good Doctor Manmohan give him a check up and give him a prescription,
Best prescription in Kamalnath's case is let him know his disease ka description!!

If India does not make it in the Last Eight it'll be ....all dressed up and nowhere to go!!
All the hoopla created will in the face of hoopla creators blow!!!

Public feels that our cricketers concentrate more on ads than on their game,
Taking the game for granted sure is a shame!!!

When they are supposed to be practicing they are busy shooting for ads,
Or indulging in their personal fads!!!

If India does not make it to last eight our Team should be disbanded,
Marching orders all should be handed!!

India should stop playing International cricket for a year,
For one in International cricket India should be put in neutral gear!!

Let the players go through the domestic circuit grind,
And based on performance Selectors team karre find!!!

All fun and no game has made our Team dull,
These suggetions BCCI should mull!!!

Bharat Kumar
