PMO should take cognizance

Such incidents are extremely shameful. Last year in September, one army jawan forcibly entered the room of a lady officer (group A central service officer) with the intention of outraging her modesty. When he was caught and handed over to police, army authorities came and took his custody. Even though army jawan acceptd that he had entered lady officer's room with the intention of raping her, he was not given any imprisonment. Most shocking was conduct on the part of head of department. Neither any FIR was lodged nor matter reported to Secretary Ministry of Defence. PMO should take serious cognizance of criminal conduct on the part of personnel of defence forces
