CAG V N Kaul re-elected
In a closely contested election, comptroller and auditor general of India V.N. Kaul has been elected the External Auditor of the World Health Organisation for a period of three years. He was supported by 80 countries, of the 124 countries present, during the voting at Geneva. The other contenders for the post of the external auditor were Philippines and Indonesia. The CAG of India is currently also the external auditor of the Food and Agricultural Organisation (FAO), International Maritime Organisation (IMO) and the World Tourism Organisation.

New Ministry of MSME in GoI
The Ministry of Small Scale Industries and the Ministry of Agro and Rural Industries have been merged to synergise the activities of all the agencies of the two Ministries after the passage of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act, 2006. The new Ministry has been renamed as the Ministry of MSME. The work allocated to the Ministry has also been enhanced to include all activities for promotion of SMEs, both manufacturing industries and service enterprises, co-ordination with UNIDO, etc.

Two 1971 batch IRS officers C Ravi Chandran and S K Iyer are reportedly set to join as Ombudsman Income Tax.

UP bureaucrats in a tight spot ,fear of Mayawati

UP bureaucrats are in a tight spot these days. Chief Minister Ms. Mayawati at a meeting of the IAS and the IPS from the state has clearly told them to perform or face action. "I want results. Either deliver goods or be prepared to face suspension. There will be no warning", she told the bureaucrats who had to remain without and refreshment and tea during the four hour long meeting. Such was the fear of the Chief Minister that none could even go to toilet.

Arora and Kumar promoted as IG in Tamil Nadu

Shashi Prakash Goyal IAS(89) is Principal Staff Officer to Shashank Shekhar Singh,Cabinet Secretary of UP. He had been serving as Principal Staff Officer to Chief Secretary UP for last two and a half years.
Narendra Bhooshan IAS is now Staff Officer to Chief Secreatry in place of Anil Kumar III who was transferred a few days back.

S S Shukla will now be DIG Kanpur. Mohit Agrawal has been made SP Rai Barelley. Amrendra Singh Sengal has been posted as SP Kanpur Rural. R K S Rathore has been shifted to the DGP office.

Why Ghosh was shifted ?
Why did Prasar Bharti Chairman order the shifted of senior IIS officer Swagat Ghosh from the post of DG Doordarshan News ?.Did he try to cover the Punjab incident to compete with the private channels? Ghosh has been moved as Registrar Newspapers of India (RNI).

Panic in Prasar Bharti
At the programme officers (programme executives) level these transfers are being done in an arbitrary and Tughlakian manner without any sense whatsoever. Programme Executives in All India Radio and Doordarshan recruited by the UPSC for generating programmes in specific languages and disciplines ... (Eg. Oriya (Drama) , English (Features) , Urdu , Hindi Literary programmes , Malayalam (Women and Children) etc etc. are being shifted in a bizzare manner...Malayalam Pexs to Agartala, an English language Pex to Sambalpur...(which is supposed to generate Programmes in Sambalpuri dialect).. The only Urdu Pex helping to coordinate Urdu news to Shillong etc...

The panic is because, there is apparently a recent Supreme Court order which says that if a person is transferred he should move and then represents his or her case ...
The Department is however ignoring other court orders which have clarified that if a person is transferred to an area other than his field of expertise/selection it can be done only in exigencies and should be purely provisional.
While in public interest, the Government may have to rotate people in areas where they have no persons recruited to handle a specific task... you cannot claim public interest to send a Malayali Programme Officer to Manipur and Panaji and sent non language knowing persons instead to Kerala in their place. This is administrative foolhardiness at its worst.

Indispensable ISS Officer
The arbitrariness in postings / transfer, and highhanded attitude towards the Service Officers, and the region based approach adopted by Ministry of Stat & PI is clear from each and every action of the Ministry. Despite the fact that JS level posts are vacant in Delhi, they are not being filled from officers sitting out of Delhi and desperately wish to come back on compassionate grounds. It is clear these posts have been kept reserved for favoured and junior most officers who are retuning back from foreign assignment or are likely to get promotion in future. There is no transparency and a mockery has been made of the RTI Act, as incomplete and irrelevant replies are given to RTI applicants.

There is no doubt Congress has alienated itself from the common man,
Common man is no longer Congress's fan!!

Problem is Congress thought by just wooing Muslims would make it a winner,

Today Congress boasts its brought inflation down,
As inflation shot up people used for Congress every derogatory adjective and noun!!!

People have not forgotten the inflation pains,
And also many UPA Ministers caused inflaton to rise and made gains!!.

But its Congress that's being blamed for inflation,
Lopsided policies and corruption ka creation!!!

Despite the worsening situation for Congress why are alarm bell in Congress not ringing!
Same old tune Congressis are singing!!!

Seems Congress has resigned to its fate,
No wonders Congress has started looking as a Party on its way out of late!!!

Rahul has failed miserably in UP…an Italian magazine has called him the last Gandhi!
He's not been able to revive in UP Congress ki aandhi!!

Magazine has called him 'L'ttimo Gandhi' … says he's the thinking and speaking kind!!!
But his recent statements in UP show that before speaking he's not applied his mind!!

Is the magazine trying to say that Rahul is going to remain single or chhada for life!!!
But weren't there rumours that he's very soon going to get a gori wife???

So he better get married and give the Gandhi family its heir,
Take the magazine's statement as a dare!!

The magazine could also be meaning that Gandhi family is losing its hold,
And it sees Congressmen against the Gandhi's are becoming bold!!!

Don't forget the downturn in Congress's electoral fortunes can cause this to kick in,
So Sonia , Rahul and Priyanka you really need to make Congress win!!!

Conduct an internal audit and circumspect!!!

BJP too should be worried about UP polls outcome,
A dismal third its come!!!

Maybe the contemplation will help them to do better in upcoming elections,
And BJP should not become complacent based on the projections!!!

Punjab's VB has found the conduit who sent Amrinder's ghoos out,
They say for this Amrinder used one Gupta whose a money laundering tout!!

This guy has confessed to laundering money for the entire Amrinder gang,
In Court like a Parakeet about his crimes he sang!!!

Court has ordered CBI to let the Court know what it's been able to investigate!!!

They say Dera Chief knew his plagiarized Jaam e Insaan would get Sikhs agitated,

And Congress Government got the sack!!!

IBN bent 360 degrees for Amrinder, Amar and Mulayam,
But despite its efforts Amrinder in Punjab and Mulayam in UP nahi rahe kaayam!!!

And now this Channel boasts that it's always got its psephology right!!!
On its misses its lost sight!!

Seems Pronoy Roy had kept Sardesai in check,
Now for Journalistic principals Sardesai cares a heck!!!

Is it possible that in the next reshuffle Laloo gets Pawar's portfolio,
Under Pawar the Agriculture Ministry has been stricken by Polio!!

And let Pawar and Praful interchange Portfolios….. Praful will do a good job,
As Agriculture Minister he'll not fib and fob!!!

Then Pawar's preoccupation with BCCI will then not affect us,
Though those travelling by air will cuss!!!

Trouble in the air causes only a minority of Indians pain,
