WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT US

As far as I have gone through this site, it caters purely to the matters relating to India only. On large number of occasions it seen that the word "Indian" is added indicating that the site is a foreign one. I think this adjective in the write up should be totally eliminated.

A CMD who failed in 69 interviews

Your comment on a CMD of a PSU who failed 69 interviews. This is the sad plight of PSU's. The people selected are by the corrupt politicians and it took him so long to gather sufficient funds for getting selected. On the other hand as Union Minister selected a CMD without any qualification since funds were supplied by an Indian MNC.

Congratulations to 2006 batch IPS officers

It's really a matter of pride that even after so many debates regarding salary structure between corporate and government sectors so many brilliant people are joining the services. It's beyond doubt that they have preferred services b'coz of the honour and satisfaction and not for salary. We expect better public services from these proffesionally and technically sound young officers. Congratulations to all the IPS officers of 2006 batch.

Vigilance awareness week
This year also Vigilance Awareness Week will be celebrated from 12th to 16 November. 2007. In a ritualistic manner CVC has written to all government departments/PSUs to administer a pledge to employees at 1100hrs. on 12th November But this practice started in the year 2000 has hardly made any difference in curbing corruption or in bringing about transparency or accountability or in protecting whistleblowers. Infact CVC wants absolute secrecy maintained to protect the identity of those indicted on corruption charges as was revealed in the course of information provided under RTI Act. If CVC has the guts ,let it call a public hearing to explain its own functioning and reply to questions by whistle blowers/general public as to how there is no fear of being caught and how come officers involved in serious acts of corruption and facing criminal cases are even holding sensitive and important positions like that of DDG Vigilance in certain government departments. If there has to be a vigilance awareness week , let it be celebrated in a meaningful manner and not simply by going through the motions with zero results.

HR Processes

One day while walking down the street a highly successful Human Resources Manager was tragically hit by a bus and she died. Her soul arrived up in heaven where she was met at the Pearly Gates by St. Peter himself.

"Welcome to Heaven ," said St. Peter. "Before you get settled in though, it seems we have a problem. You see, strangely enough, we've never once had a Human Resources Manager make it this far and we're not really sure what to do with you."

"No problem, just let me in," said the woman.

"Well, I'd like to, but I have higher orders. What we're going to do is let you have a day in Hell and a day in Heaven and then you can choose whichever one you want to spend an eternity in."

"Actually, I think I've made up my mind, I prefer to stay in Heaven", said the woman

"Sorry, we have rules..."

And with that St. Peter put the executive in an elevator and it went down-down-down to hell.

The doors opened and she found herself stepping out onto the putting green of a beautiful golf course. In the distance was a country club and standing in front of her were all her friends - fellow executives that she had worked with and they were well dressed in evening owns and cheering for her. They ran up and kissed her on both cheeks and they talked about old times. They played an excellent round of golf and at night went to the country club where she enjoyed an excellent steak and lobster dinner.

She met the Devil who was actually a really nice guy (kind of cute) and she had a great time telling jokes and dancing. She was having such a good time that before she knew it, it was time to leave. Everybody shook her hand and waved goodbye as she got on the elevator.

The elevator went up-up-up and opened back up at the Pearly Gates and found St. Peter waiting for her.

"Now it's time to spend a day in heaven," he said. So she spent the next 24 hours lounging around on clouds and playing the harp and singing. She had great time and before she knew it her 24 hours were up and St. Peter came and got her.

"So, you've spent a day in hell and you've spent a day in heaven. Now you must choose your eternity,"

The woman paused for a second and then replied, "Well, I never thought I'd say this, I mean, Heaven has been really great and all, but I think I had a better time in Hell."

So St. Peter escorted her to the elevator and again she went down-down-down back to Hell.

When the doors of the elevator opened she found herself standing in a desolate wasteland covered in garbage and filth. She saw her friends were dressed in rags and were picking up the garbage and putting it in sacks.

The Devil came up to her and put his arm around her.

"I don't understand," stammered the woman, "yesterday I was here and there was a golf course and a country club and we ate lobster and we danced and had a great time. Now all there is a wasteland of garbage and all my friends look miserable."

The Devil looked at her smiled and told...

After the flop now Manmohan has done a flip!!!
Seems Manmohan's cup always misses his lip!!!

Now he says it's not the end of the road for the Deal!!
But the question is Manmohan at the wheel???

Life goes on after the Deal ....... but now he says Deal is alive!!!
Or is the Deal a cat with live after live!!

No doubt Manmohan sold Sonia the Deal and on the Deal Sonia went gaga!!
The minute Sonia felt Sarkaar could fall she started saying na na!!!

Now Karat says he does not doubt Manmohan's credibility!!!
Karat should also not doubt Manmohan's capability!!!!

Actually it's not about credibility or capability but about selfishness!!!!
And Commies are least bit bothered if India lands up in a mess!!!

Commies resent the Deal as it's with USA !!
Fact is via Commie's objections China is having its say!!!

And by the way Manmohan does not need a certificate of honesty!!!
That too from Commies who have time and again shown towards India their dishonesty!!!

As expected on the Deal USA is asking India to take the next step!!!!
And to reduce opposition here US is sending rep after rep!!!

US reps have made it clear that the Deal US will not renegotiate!!
This emphatically every US rep ne kiya hai state!!!

Modi has dared Rahul to campaign in Gujarat !!!!
Though now insiders say Rahul will go Mummy Ji ke saath!!!

Rahul will not campaign but cheer Mummy dear!!!
He'll not be exposed in a State where Congress electorally is in reverse gear!!!

Waving hand and clapping cannot be construed as campaigning... its cheering!!
From false bravado now Gujarat elections Congress is fearing!!!

What's happened to the Ram Setu Document Rahul aka The Baba was preparing!!!!
The Baba will unravel the truth and then BJP will ditch the issue Congress was daring!!!

The Baba has been googling Ram Setu raat aur dinn!!!
To disprove Ram Setu he'll have to disprove Ram and that in India would be a sin!!!

Karnataka Guv believes in aaj ka kaam hafte (week) ke baad karro!!!
Or he believes that every line in a letter 1 lakh times padho!!!

Congress appointed Guvs have a history of subverting Democracy!!!
What is happening in Karnataka is nothing but Guv's biased autocracy!!!

And I'm sure he is touch with Dilli!!!
If Congress says 'not so' it'll be sounding silly!!

Guv's usually try to curtail horse trading but this Guv seems to giving time for trade!!!
Anything by which Congress can indirectly or directly make the grade!!!

And don't know why BJP is meeting PM…. PM ke Boss ko karro meet!!!
As we all know PMO is controlled from the backseat!!!

There's a flight of Industry from Punjab …… Center is to blame!!!
Centre is interested that when it comes to industrialization Punjab remains lame!!

All the big Industrial Houses are slowly but surely shifting out of Punjab !!!
Citing that other States give them more laab (benefit)!!!

Badal is known for his indecisiveness!!
Believes in let matters self sort themselves and mind your own business!!

Many say Punjab will benefit if Junior takes over from Papa Dear,
He'll be decisive and move Sarkaar into top gear!!

The Sensex went up 26% when Fed reduced rate!!!!!!
If Fed does not reduce this time will Sensex face a reverse fate????

There's every chance that Fed on interest rate keep a status quo!!!
And in all probability down all Asian Markets will go!!!

Dravid has been dropped…. what a shame???
And imagine they've included Sehewag's name!!!

Vengsrakar says Dravid does not add value to the team.... Colonel has a sense of humor!
Dravid's being dropped to settle an old score is the rumor!!!

Confucius says….. Cricket in India is a 'political' game!!!
If you compare various facets you'll deduce politics and cricket are the s(h)ame!!
