Corruption and honesty
I fully agree with VK. Our system is so corrupt friendly that anyone who tries to do his job honestly is bound to come to grief. ACR system and transfer posting policy and absence of grievance redressal system are all intended to ensure compliant behaviour and weed out and render ineffective those who try to follow the rulebook, forget fighting the corruption. State of governance is such that in several departments if corruption were to be stopped for even one hour(assuming it was possible)work would come to a standstill for full ten hours. If our country has achieved such a spectacular success as is being proclaimed, it is because corruption is contributing positively to 'development'. RTI Act. Whistle Blowers resolution, Public Services Security bill, transparency. accountability are like small statues of gods and goddesses kept in the homes of scoundrels to ward of trouble. VK should have his fundamentals clear. Those who fight corruption are considered as a nuisance and unless a CVO is perceived as a friend of the corrupt, he will be treated as an enemy and dealt with accordingly. So that people can reach out to him to devise ways of tackling the situation, VK should identify himself giving his name and service. Otherwise his tormentors will come down heavily upon him, while his supporters will not be able to reach him. P.S. This was the best Vigilance Awareness Week ever celebrated because of genuine information ,views and experiences disseminated on your website.

India is proud of Rahul Gandhi

India should be proud of Rahul Gandhi as a young and educated leader. Nehru-Gandhi family has done great service to the Nation. There is no better PM than Indira Gandhi and to belong to the family is the privilege of Rahul. BJP too should find young leaders or it will be left behind.

CVC must be given complete control

The way the anti-corruption mechanism is designed and implemented in this country is very much prone to blatant misuse by the corrupt bosses to whom they report in the ACR writing process. I think CVC must be assigned the complete task of corruption control and all the CVOs and their supporting officers staff need to be reported by the CVC and clear directions given to the CVOs for objectively tackling the malaise in their organisations and take up with the CVOs if they fail to perform their sacred duty and explicitly encourage those few CVOs who perform in this jungle raaj of corruption where the higher and more corrupt get scot-free and low level officials only are punished by the vigilance.

There is absence of rule of law

I would like to commend the thoughtful comments of NN Ojha (WIC Forum 16th Nov ). The problem with Indian bureaucracy is that there is almost complete absence of "Rule of Law". As rightly pointed out by NN Jha we are the victims of a vicious circle as most of the officers themselves have risen to their present commanding positions through blind obedience of their superiors and this is what they expect from their juniors. In a democratic set up, there should be objectivity, equity, justice and fair play. This is exactly what is missing from our system. And don't expect the fully entrenched politicians or bureaucrats to fix it. It is only a handful of officers of integrity, who are the victims of the system, have to fight a long drawn battle to make the system work for them as well. This is not going to be an easy fight and don't expect miracles or any benefits during yout career. It is only the coming generations who will reap the benefits of our pioneering efforts. But then that would be worth it. History is replete with instances where change has occurred, but slowly.

TAIL-PIECE

WIFE VS. HUSBAND
A couple drove down a country road for several miles, not saying a word. An earlier discussion had led to an argument and neither of them wanted to concede their position. As they passed a barnyard of mules, goats, and pigs, the husband asked sarcastically, "Relatives of yours?" "Yep," the wife replied, "in-laws."
W O R D S A husband read an article to his wife about how many words women use a day...
30,000 to a man's 15,000. The wife replied, "The reason has to be because we have to repeat everything to men... The husband then turned to his wife and asked, "What?"

CREATION

A man said to his wife one day, "I don't know how you can be so stupid and so beautiful all at the same time.
" The wife responded, "Allow me to explain. God made me beautiful so you would be attracted to me;
God made me stupid so I would be attracted to you!

WHO DOES WHAT
A man and his wife were having an argument about who should brew the coffee each morning. The wife said, "You should do it, because you get up first, and then we don't have to wait as long to get our coffee."
The husband said, " You are in charge of cooking around here and you should do it, because that is your job, and I can just wait for my coffee." Wife replies, "No, you should do it, and besides, it is in the Bible
that the man should do the coffee." Husband replies, "I can't believe that, show me."
So she fetched the Bible, and opened the New Testament and showed him at the top of several pages, that it indeed says.........."HEBREWS"

The Silent Treatment

A man and his wife were having some problems at home and were giving each other the silent treatment. Suddenly, the man realized that the next day, he would need his wife to wake him at
5:00 AM for an early morning business flight. Not wanting to be the first to break the silence (and LOSE), he wrote on a piece of paper, "Please wake me at 5:00 AM ." He left it where he knew she would find it.
The next morning, the man woke up, only to discover it was 9:00 AM and he had missed his flight. Furious, he was about to go and see why his wife hadn't wakened him, when he noticed a piece of paper by the bed. The paper said, "It is 5:00 AM . Wake up." Men are not equipped for these kinds of contests.

God may have created man before woman,
but there is always a rough draft before the masterpiece

The Congress meet was a Rahul Baba show!!!
Attempt to pep up The Baba's image which has hit a low!!!

With his recent demands Rahul Baba got afflicted by foot in mouth!!!
His recent attempts to change things in Congress made his image plunge south!!

Rahul said in his speech that Congress should become meritocratic!!!
If Congressis don't perform demotion will be automatic!!!

What about being meritocratism of the perverse kind?????
In Congress this perverse meritocratism you find!!!

Otherwise how did Bhagat, Tytler and Sajjan get posts???
Despite being hounded by 1984 riot's ghosts!!!

Because perverse meitocratism got them an A Grade!!!
And Ministers two of them were made!!!

'I or Rahul don't have a wand' Sonia's plea!!!
Her desperation is so easy to see!!!

On all fronts Congress is failing!!
And yes now wand can ensure at Polls smooth sailing!!

Sonia says that Congress's Ghandian values should not be lost at any cost!!!
But she forgets that her son is working on ensuring that Ghandian values are lost!!

Didn't he demand that Congressis should be exempt for wearing khadi???
Kadhi exemplifies high thinking and living that is abs saadhi!!!

On the price front Congress has flopped!!!
And now see what Manmohan has lopped!!!

He said at the Congress meet that he could no longer control price rise!!!
He's preparing you all for a spurt in price of rice!!

Onion prices are still high and despite this export ban has been lifted!!!
An opportunity to speculators/hoarders has been gifted!!!

Sonia and Manmohan have this habit of talking tough and then whimpering!!!
After banging Commies they go in for Commie pampering!!!

Sonia said in her speech that coalition does not mean Congress cedes ground!!
But as we see it Congress stands on its ground with its hands and feet bound!!!

On what's happened in Nandigram not a word!!!
If you ask me such apathy by a Party leading a coalition Government is unheard!!

Not a word from Her Majesty or Her Majesty's Voice!!!!!
On account of numerical compulsions opinions both could not voice!!

Brinda says that if rapes are proved in Nandigram Government will act!!!
And then too rest assured Sarkaar's action will just be an act!!!

Brinda Ji by making this statement you've fallen in public's eyes!!!
Because your image was that cruelty Brinda always defies!!

Karat is in Wonderland!!!
On Nuclear Deal says no change in Commie stand!!

General perception is that after Nandigram Commies have become flexible!!!
Now they cannot afford to be inflexible!!!

So from pulling the plug if with IAEA Deal was broached!!!
Now Commie's say IAEA can be approached!!

In Gujarat Congress is trying to do a chakh de on the political field!!!
Abh hockey sticks Congress supporters karr rahe hai wield!!

In the end Congress would have hit many self goals!!!
First few self goals have been hit by the ad campaign Congress is using in these poll's!!

Campaigns tout to do what Modi has already done!!
Congress bass rakhti hai apne haath parr haath is the new pun!!!

Congress forgot that India 's National game is cricket!!!!
BJP's campaign…. Chakh doh Congress ke teeno wicket!!!

Show left ( Gujarat ) and right (HP) stumps uprooted and only middle stump standing!!!
Middle stump denotes Centre Sarkaar and show on this ball will soon be landing!!!

BJP supporters should take to the streets with bats and stumps!!!!
On game choice itself BJP will win as Cricket is on the top and Hockey is in the dumps!!!

Shoaib Akhtar wants to meet Sanju Baba… both have a lot in common!!!
Behaving recklessly for both is very common!!!

Maybe Shoaib wants to ask Sanju how he kicked his addiction to dope!!!!
And with the withdrawal symptoms how did he cope????

As they discuss this they may share a joint!!!
I hope by this I've made my point!!!

Coming back to the Congress meet… this meet was for Rahul's anointment!!!
Solely for this meet was meant!!!

Wasn't this the time to let all have a peek into his vision!!!
Seems till now kuch nahi kiya hai Rahul ne iss Desh ke liye envision!!!!

Confucius says….. Rahul came, spoke and was anointed!!
Adds…..Many who came and heard his speech went back disappointed!!!
