Retirement age should be 82

It is best if the retiring age is increased to 82 years instead of the proposed 62 years. The problem of digging wells can be solved by giving every govt, servant who reaches the age of 60 a shovel and a pick axe so that he may take necessary action from his end.Further 82 years will mean death in harness for most govt. servants as the average life expectancy in india is 65 years. The offspring of govt. servants can be accomodated this way. This would be in line with the Hindu caste system which is based on birth and varna. It is a well known fact that after retirement in India people die in about 3 years . If the retirement age is 60 then most retired govt. servants will be dead by 63 years all together.Wood for cremations is scarce these days and so many cremations all at once would lead to deforestation and further global warming. In order to prevent an ecological disaster it is best to increase the retirement age to 82 years.

Country needs young blood

Everyone recommending enhancement in age of retirement must deeply think what mishraji has highlighted. Today the country needs young blood and as far as experience is concerned everyone above the age of 50 is very well expereinced and capable of guiding the younger generation hence logic of raising the age is not tenable.

Mukesh

Experience counts

experience counts a lot especiaaly in govt. organizations on higher levels.soldier may be a young recruit but commander should always be a experienced one.hence increasing the retirement age would definitely benefit the govt. further at this level most of the beauraucrates work on policy issues which need long working and experience in govt. system.at last when there is no age limit to be the primeminister or cabinet minister why cant we increase the retirement age upto 65 years incase of talented and experienced bureaucrates.

Why DA Can't be exempted from IT ?

I understand that Dearness Allowance (DA) is given to neutralise the rising cost of living since it is linked to the wholesale price index. What I dont understand is that why should it not be exempted from income tax.
--- I do agree with author. In addition to this other allowances also exempted from Income tax.

Modi will win

Yes, I agree, Mr. Modi will win the Elections. I have visited Gujarat during the CM-ship of many others. It was a far better place in Mr. Modi's tenure. 2ndly, Mr. Modi's ability to pick feedbacks and doing homework before any event make him a Mr. Right. No doubt, controversies do arise but one cannot please every Tom, Dick and Harry.

Inderjeet Singh

Why IRS are leaving ?

its really high time that the Finance ministry should do some introspection and do something for the betterment of service conditions.Gone are the days when govt was the lone job provider.Opportunities are plenty beyond the Govt jobs and ministry should do something to prevent the drain of its resources. How long will the ministry preach--Taruvar fal nahi khat hai, sarvar na piyat nir, parmarath ke karan santan dhara sharir.

Aaj Ki Aawaz

In Gujarat seems Modi will benefit because of the Tehelka sting!!!
Rather than booing Modi ke praises Gurjaratis karr rahe hai sing!!!

And now Congress is behaving as if there was no sting!!!
Congressis run away the minute Tehelka sting into the conversation you bring!!

And then Congress has 1984 riots taint on its face!!!
How can Congress point a finger at Modi or BJP…. with what face????

They say now even Keshubhai is having a change of heart!!!
He knows Modi's going to overturn Opposition's cart!!!

Hasn't Congress really mishandled the 123 Deal???
Many Indians aise karr rahe hai feel!!!

And as in politics there are no permanent friends or foes!!!
For issues too the same goes!!!

No wonders Pawar, Karuna and Laloo did a somersault !!!
And from being proponents of the Deal now they want the Deal to halt!!!

And if Sonia thinks she'll sell the Deal to Cheen!!!
Than she needs to get her head seen!!!

This trip is going to be ….. aaye , khaye , piye aur khiske!!!!
She'll realize Cheeni (Chinese) kabhi nahi hooe hai kissi ke!!!

History repeated itself…… her Grandfather in law did the same!!!
Trusted China and did not see China 's game!!!

Rahul Baba got another opportunity to air his business suits…. Baba's days out!!!!
But don't know why did he have on his mug a dimpled pout???

JD(S) and BJP have staked claim to form Sarkaar and Governor's looking into claim!!!
JD(S) for going back to BJP Congress ko karte hai blame!!

Gowda says Congress was all out to break his Party and he had to protect his flock!!!
And by coming back to power with BJP Congress's move kiya Gowda ne block!!!

Governor is looking into the claim with a microscope or in minute detail!!!
Inspection of Bio datas, financial statements and medical records of MLAs this may entail!!

Governor may also demand that he's like to interview each MP alone!!!
Anything by which decision karr sakke postpone!!!

In the meantime Congress has got a JD (S) Leader to rebel!!!
'I have the support of 57 MLAs' JD (S) Strongman Prakash sabh ko karr raha hai tell!!

Laloo's Chetavani Rally is being sponsored by Indian Railways!!!
So in actuality for this rally every Indians and India pays!!

Promises are being made that there will be naach gaana at the rally!!!!
This is so that they can increase the attendance tally!!!

Nitsih should put a launda naach gaana stall en-route to the Rally site!!!
Laloo get entrapped in launda naach gaana till night!!!

With power Laloo is behosh!!!
After the Bihar Public gives the boot to RJD in General Elections aaye gi Laloo ko hosh!

Pawar still has nightmares about Khairnar who had practically nailed him!!!
Corruption charges that he made on Pawar were indeed very grim!!!

Now Mumbai HC a PIL has been filed against Pawar!!!
PIL alleges that PSUs made land allotments to benefit Pawar and his pariwaar!!

Apart from Sharad his nephew Ajit and son in law Sadanand are under the scanner,
The land allotments have been made in a very questionable manner!!!

The land grab has been effected by Trusts run by these three,
Trusts got the land for free!!!

Don't understand how Mr. Honesty said that Pawar was a good Minister???
Manmohan Ji many would take this comment of your as very sinister!!

Confucius says….. Honesty looks down on dishonesty!!
He adds….. And if it does not then this puts a question mark on honesty!!!

Whose Sehwag's Sugar Daddy in BCCI…… how else does he get chance after chance??
Despite string of dismal performances how come he gets the BCCI's approving glance!!

As Sehwag or Mr. Flop gets chance pe chance many deserving youngsters are overlooked!!!
Because of Sehwag's Sugar Daddy on Sehwag BCCI is so hooked!!

Confucius says…….. Gill and Pawar have politicized hockey and cricket!!
Adds… These so called sports administrators have put Indian both sports on a slippery wicket!!!

CORPORATE

GOD FATHERS OF PSUs ?

Extension of one year to Dr. Garg of Power Finance Corporation
should not surprise anyone. Public Sector bosses particularly in
the power sector depend heavily on God fathers from ruling political
parties. Another Garg - of NHPC - was able to manage top post
solely due to political intervention. power Minister kept his file on his
table for nine months but could not resist more because very powerful
lobbyists worked overnight to get Garg selected even though he was
in no way connected with the hydro sector being a finance person from
the oil sector. God fathers are now deciding the major contracts in the
Corporation while professionals sit on sidelines watching the scene
helplessly. This type of selection and patronage has increased manifold
during the current regime of UPA.

CONCOR's forays into coastal shipping

Container Corporation Of India (CONCOR ), of which Managing Director is Rakesh Mehrotra, as a true multi modal operator has made forays into coastal shipping. It has already done some trial shipments earlier from places in South India where it moves cargo by road to its terminal in Cochin. The cargo is stuffed in the containers there & thereafter moved by inland vessels to Kandla, for onward railing from there to North Indian hinterland. The company is tying up with some vessel operators for reactivating this corridor so that it is able to combine the true strengths of railways and coastal shipping and move cargo from its terminals in South India to its terminals in North India. According MD CONCOR Rakesh Mehrotra, provisions will also be made for door delivery of cargo at both ends by means of road transport. As per CONCOR's estimates, this will bring down the total transportation costs by around 20% as against current scenario of direct movement of these consignments from South India to North India, with intermittent transfers enroute. Likewise a lot of cargo is likely to move from North India to South India once the movements become viable. To provide similar services to the neighbouring countries, CONCOR has started Rail-Cum - Shipping services for exports from Northern Hinterland to the Port of Chittagaon in Bangladesh, added Rakesh Mehrotra.Based on the success of this project, similar services will be extended to other countries as well.

The Castrol India Limited has launched Castrol Magnatec, a specially formulated engine oil, using synthetic technology, with the unique proposition of "Intelligent Molecules". According to V. Srikanth Vice President Marketing Castrol India Limited "sales in the mid-segment (segment B and segment C) category of the passenger car segment has seen a surge over the last decade owing to the rapid growth in the personal mobility space. The car owners of this segment are relatively less involved with the maintenance of their car yet seek reliable performance from their vehicle and are willing to pay a premium for the right maintenance and service. Castrol Magnatec has been formulated with synthetic technology that forms a stronger layer of protection from the moment you turn on the ignition thus ensuring that the engine performs at its peak for a longer duration."Typically, maximum wear and tear occurs to the engine during start up as the oil drains out if it has been turned off for a long period.
