Many others are also upset
Apropos the whisper regarding Mrs.Sonia Gandhi being upset (WWIC Oct
28), I wish to state that there are many others who too are upset about
the dirty tricks indulged in by the Tehelka Aajtak inc in the name of
investigative journalism. Through this so called sting operation their
journalists have brought out nothing that was not in the widest possible
public domain already. The allegations of violence against pregnant
women, killing of Ehsan Jaffri and cases of rape and murder are all
already known and the law courts including the apex court are looking
into these. The only purpose the expose (!) could serve in the manner
in which it was presented is to simply incite communal tensions. I wish
the law enforcing agencies study this aspect and book the mischief mongers
masquerading as journalists so that others are deterred effectively.
Tehelka had earned immense respect from a wide spectrum of society during
their earlier sting on weapons procurement but this time round their
only achievement has been to take yelllow journalism to abysmal depths.
While the timing of the revelations (?) makes the entire exercise suspect,
Tarun Tejpal and Harender Baweja lost whatever little claim they had
to respectability by the cheap, pedestrian manner in which they screamed
and howled during the subsequent talk shows on the subject on the electronic
media. Journalists are a respectable class. I fail to understand how
some of them can be so completely devoid of grace and decency in their
public behavior.

Make the retiring age 55
The development of medical science might have improved the life expectancy
at birth but not the ageing process. If you tell a small child to go
for tuition to an old teacher considering his experience, he will say
the old man would be irritating and I will prefer a young teacher. When
any body grows old, he may live long but quality of servie will come
down. Make the retiring age 55 as done by Kerala Govt.

HR quality
HR drain from government system goes to enrich other segments of society/economy.
Why lament the exchange?
In any case, government does not seem to have the need for retaining
the best of HR resources. The system has amply demonstrated that the
requisite HR quality is conformity and pliability, and not academic
excellence from IITs or IIMs.

Will the big officers leave ego ?
By this process the entire country is suffering. Office of DC (MSME)
is a great organisation. They can do wonders for uplifting the living
standard of people by concentrating on their job. But they quarrel.
There is a chanise proverb 'when two elephants fight it is the grass
which suffers' Both the big officers are competing to make foreign trip.
Is there any agency to evaluate how much such visit has benefited the
people? When crores of people are starving these people are enjoying
at their cost. Can the honest PM look into it and see that such big
officers leave ego and think of people as public servant.

In politics every one manages
Why to get upset, in politics every one manages and manupulates the
things likely to be in their favour especially for near election. She
too has many opportunities provided she has good and sincere advisers.

Obsessions
A psychiatrist was conducting a group therapy session with four young
mothers and their small children.
"You all have obsessions," he observed.
To the first mother, he said, "You are obsessed with eating. You've
even named your daughter Candy.
He turned to the second Mom. "Your obsession is with money. Again,
it manifests itself in your child's name, Penny."
He turns to the third Mom. "Your obsession is alcohol. This too
manifests itself in your child's name, Brandy"
At this point, the fourth mother gets up, takes her little boy by the
hand and whispers. "Come on, Dick, we're leaving.

Today what is Manmohan Singh's image????
His back flips and clean chits have done his image damage!!!
Why did he challenge the Commies
.later he could not push when
it came to shove??
He back flipped once he got orders from above!!!
And we know who is 'above'
. High Command!!!
And he does whatever High Command does demand!!
Congress has earmarked a chunk of seats for Modi's detractors,
And mind you amongst the detractors there are quite a few 'actors'!!!
And the real turncoats will face the Public's ire!!!
For ditching their Party of gains Gujarat ki Public will light their
electoral pyre!!!
Now Modi needs to concentrate on rural Gujarat !!!
Woo rural Gujarat dinn aur raat!!!
Seems Kumarswamy and Prakash have not patched up!!!
Now Kumar says that his siding with Congress is not a gup!!!
As expected on BJP and JD (S)'s letter Governor is going slow!!
He's got his weathercock out and is seeing from Delhi kaise winds karr
rahi hai blow!!!
BJP and JD (S) have the numbers but seems Guv is not satisfied,
Winds from Delhi cannot be defied!!!!
There is also the possibility that Guv could say that in Karnataka it's
a political mess!!
And for continuance of President's Rule he may press!!!
Opine that he feels proposed Sarkaar will not have longevity!!
And advice continuance of President's Rule
.. Guv's creativity!!!
During her visit to Chandigarh Mayawathi flaunted her SUVs and Jet!!!
But her call for Dalits to show their strength with a very placid response
was met!!!
As customary she was gifted a crown of gold!!!
But what must have irked her was that the response to the Rally call
was very cold!!
BSP boasted that 40,000 would attend the rally!!
In the end only 10,000 was the attendance tally!!
And though she lamented that UP's Treasury is khaali she gave a Rs.
30 lakh gift!
To the Press Club in Chandigarh hoping Press will give her some much
needed lift!!
Her social engineering worked in UP but will fail elsewhere!!!
In both Gujarat and HP poorly BSP will fare!!
In his rally Laloo said that cricket needs dedication while politics
guile!!!
Who is he trying to beguile???
Wherever Politicians have entered there is need for guile
the
devious kind!!!
Because in the wrong way they apply their mind!!!
Seems Laloo's son has reached the end of his cricketing rope,
And now his son will enter BCCI Laloo karr raha hai hope!!
Laloo in the rally taunted Nitish
perform or perish!!!
But his taunt lacked conviction because on RJD's Bihar electoral prospects
he's bearish!
Nandigram is on the boil again!!!
Though nothing is wrong in Nandigram Commies karr rahe hai feign !!
In WB Mamtha can give Commies a bloody nose in elections!!!
But for this she'll have to revive her Congress connections!!
In WB Congress and Mamtha could make a pretty big dent in seats!!!
No wonders now from roars Commies are just letting out bleats!!!
Mulayam is in constant touch with Karat!!!
Don't know if he or Karat is dangling the carrot!!!
UNPA will hold its next meeting out of Delhi !!!
But don't worry you'll get to see Amar giving you a detailed account
on telly!!
Though in Public UNPA will moan the presence of the Third Estate,
But in actuality they feel just the opposite of what they state!!!
Why doesn't Third Estate ignore the next meet and give UNPA a jolt???
For a Media ravenous person like Amar this would be like being hit by
a lightening ka bolt!!
Mulayam says CBI's claim on his disproportionate assets is disproportionate,
But truth is with his years in power the assets are proportionate!!!
As Hedge funds pull out Rupee is bound to appreciate!!!
And Markets will fall so portfolios will significantly depreciate!!!
The rise in the past two sessions is deceiving!!!
Now less and less funds Indian Markets from FIIs will be receiving!!!
Sensex has touched 20,000 in 10 sessions,
Both PC and Guv of RBI must be suffering tensions!!!!
Confucius says
In the next Fed Meet Uncle Ben is not going
to cut interest rate!!
' In the last rate cut I've over cut' he's going to state!!!
