A CMD who failed in 69 interviews
Your comment on a CMD of a PSU who failed 69 interviews. This is the sad plight of PSU's. The people selected are by the corrupt politicians and that is why their performance is below par. I have experience of PSU's and the ministers and their henchmen need favours everyday.

Why IRS are leaving ?

IRS are leaving not only due to opportunities in private sector but due to transfer policy which has created a level playing field for the first in the history of CBDT administration. The high and the mighty, who have not left Delhi , Bombay or used to work only in lucrative posts throughout their lives, suddenly find themselves being treated as 'other law abiding officers'. The concept of non-posting to Tamil Nadu & Kerala has ended. Therefore they complain of injustice, highhandedness & find everything wrong with the transfer policy. Management postings have reduced drastically ushering in an era of equality, judiciousness & might of the board. The erstwhile CBDT has become all powerful.

Modi is sure to win in Gujrat.

I visited Ahmedabad recently and talked to various people including Muslims. Most felt it is much safer to live in Gujrat than live outside. No fear from terrorist attacks and consequent riots and administration is people-oriented . RTI information is available fast and public is satisfied. Both congress and BJP should learn a lesson from Modi.
