Officers of other services feel elated

Nowadays, it has diversified its news about posting, transfer, promotion of other cadres as well. In this sequel, it is a wondered when the promotion, posting and transfer of CSSS cadre officers in the rank of Senior PPS, who are also in the rank equivalent to Deputy Secretaries, will find mention! No doubt, the officers themselves and the regular readers of this forum feel elated and happy when they find their name is published in any media.

Sirji : The boss

"Boss is always right" I heard my boss proclaiming in a raised voice as I entered his cabin. As with many of his umpteen announcements, I did not quite agree with this one too, for the obvious reason of being his sub-ordinate. And for the same reason kept quiet-as on other similar occasions! And proceeded to make a hasty exit. However, I was curious to know the reason for his latest fit of anger. So with all ingenuity and resourcefulness (both being non-existent parts of my persona-according to my boss) at my command I promptly embarked upon the ambitious investigation. Since it was not an official task, I got help and co-operation from everyone. We were quite amused when the truth unfolded itself before us.

A few days back our boss had been to the Head Office for attending a seminar not even remotely connected with his official functions. While in Delhi it dawned upon him that he could discharge some of his social responsibilities. So he availed of the opportunity to attend the wedding ceremony of his second cousin's niece which coincided with the date of the Seminar. As is usual in such gatherings the report on the deliberations held during the seminar was prepared in advance. Yet for the records and for the sake of satisfaction of the participants that they were indeed an integral part of very useful discussion which in due course would form the foundation of excellence in governance there was a group photograph of all the participants-including our boss. Since the photograph was not ready on the day of the seminar, it was mailed to him and reached him today only. His positioning in the photograph was at the root of his ire. It so happened that the boss was made to stand on a small stool as he was head and shoulders below others! He was not unhappy that he was forced to use artificial methods to reveal his true stature. Far from that! In fact from the stretch and expanse of his facial muscles from one ear to the other it appeared that he was laughing which emotion, according to insiders in the office, he exhibited only when he was happy. Our boss is of the firm view that even in photograph the boss should be shown in right perspective. But in the photograph he was shown in the left corner-which according to him obviously was not the right perspective. This amazing interpretation of the so-called universal rule-boss is always right-perplexed and amused us at the same time. But it was not joke. It was a serious matter. Very serious indeed! If his mood remains what it was when he first saw the group photograph, the shape-of- things-to-come would be horrifying to say the least. Leaves are likely to be rejected; sanction orders will be withdrawn; files will come back with adverse comments et cetera. A way out of this chakravyooh created by the group photograph had to be found. Quickly. Emergency meeting of all affected parties-which included everyone except the boss-was called. Brain storming session followed. And lo and behold! A solution was found in a matter of few cups of tea only. The young peon who joined our office after being rejected by many film producers at his attempts to win the- star-of-new-millennium contest came with bright and simple solution. While gazing at his charm in the mirror-his favorite pastime-he noticed that in the mirror his left hand seemed to be on the right! So was the case with the photograph too. Everyone agreed. The task of bringing this scientific fact to the notice of the boss was assigned to me. With some rehearsal and great apprehension I proceeded to convince the boss. Contrary to all our expectations the boss could grasp the pith of underlying complicated scientific principle in a flash. Anger vanished from his face like funds for relief of tsunami victims. A broad smile was painted on his face as in the photograph. He immediately expressed his happiness with retrospective effect. And proclaimed-this time in very reassuring tone-"boss is always right". I pretended to agree this time.

IAS should become leaders with a big heart

With due respect to N Kumar and Alok I beg to differ with
whatever their views are. I tender an apology if I have been arrogant
and have hurt anyones feelings. But I will request them both that let
them place themselves at a position were a PCS officer is and then only
make any comment. There is no doubt about the superiority of AIS
officers but they should become leaders with a big heart. If they are
honest let them compare the fact that (1) Whether The same protection,
freedom to work & future promotion prospect that is available to any AIS
officer is available to a PCS officer (2) If they are really good and
committed to their ideals why they don't fight for the injustice being
meted out to the PCS/CSS and other group B officers in terms of
promotion and future growth. I only request them that they must go their
past and look towards their predecessors who were really having a big
heart and saw things with a just manner.

Aaj Ki Aawaz

Commies want to enjoy another six months of power though indirect!!!
So 'please keep 123 Deal on hold for six months' kiya hai UPA ko Commies ne direct!

So in effect Commies are telling UPA that for six months lets enjoy this marriage!!!
After six months Commies will divorce UPA blaming it for a miscarriage!!

For six months Commies will enjoy power and try to plug its leaking vote piggy bank!!!
And try to pull at the cost of UPA some prank!!

USA is pressing India to continue negotiations so that Deal can be inked!!!!
What will US do if UPA under Commie pressure blinked ????

Mullford says sign 123 and then lets go on to 4,5,6!!!
But for this UPA has to hit Commies for a six!!

If India backtracks on the Deal India will have to pay a very heavy cost!!!
India will be put in the Banana Republic category and our 'stable' reputation will be lost!!!

China too is working on many levels to ensure this Deal is scrapped!!!
Laid traps in India and all over the World so that India is trapped!!

In India Indian Commies are the traps and are on the job!!!
Working so that China gains and India ho jaye rob!!

And if this Deal falls Commie Leaders will be awarded the highest Chinese civilian award!!
For thier services in getting the Deal scrapped they'll receive a reward!!!

And if this Deal goes through Commies in India will feel the heat!!!
We all know China can be very mean in defeat!!!

Mao says..... If someone cannot deliver then he or she is useless and should be binned!!
Failing in Mao book is to have sinned!!

This Deal is good for India and UPA should go full steam ahead!!
Let the Reds see red!!

Bottom line it'll be the Reds who will end up as the biggest losers if elections are called!!!
And it'll be Congress that will loose face if this Deal is binned or stalled!!!

Confucius says.....Government with gun to its head ducks or is fired sooner or later!!!
Either ducks and continues or ends up with in its skull a crater (hole)!!

So UPA needs to work on ducking or get the Commies to fire a blank!!!
UPA has to choose its strategy or prank!!!

Ram Setu may just provide the winds BJP needs in its sails!!!
I've even heard marginal Hindus on this emitting wails!!!

On Ram's existence being questioned there is a lot of resentment!!!
And now Congressis are saying this was not what was meant!!

Karuna should not have fired his gob and questioned Ram and asked for his engineering degree!!
Who is Karuna to pass on Ram a decree???

Karuna can keep his bow-bowing .....Karuna will go one day!!!
But Ram in Hindus hearts will always stay!!

And Congressmen who believe in Ram should stand up and be counted!!!
Question why on Hinduism this attack by their Party has been mounted???

By inducting two of Bhajan's chamchas Hooda thinks he's won the battle!!
Though by this Bhajan ko definitely kiya hai Hooda ne rattle!!

But they Bhajan is reading for a war and banking on the anti incumbency factor!!!
He'll then try to level Congress with his (under construction) Party's symbol ... Tractor!!

Though some Congressis say Bhajan will come back!!!
And this will be when Hooda gets the sack!!

News from Gujarat is that BJP's fortunes are back on the upswing!!
To 'chadhhi pehen ke phool khilla hai' quite a few Modi detractors have started to swing!!!!

Keshubhai's opposition to Modi is placable,
And truce will come soon after he and Modi sit and bargain across the table!!

Keshubhai is dispensable but Modi is not !!!
Keshubhai will be placated with a promise of 'malai posts' for him and his lot!!!

Laloo's 'window dressing' of Railway's Balance Sheet has been exposed!!
As a turnaround marwick Laloo had posed!!!

In actuality turnaround was just an old accountant's trick!!!
And Desh aur Duniya ko kiya Laloo ne trick!!

Laloo's ji jhoot matth bolo!!
Jhoot ultimately get caught so apni poll matth kholo!!!
