Let us not bogged down with these non-issues
I wish to react to Col. R Aima's remarks about disparity amongst the three Services about promotions in their officers' ranks and Kuldip Sandhu's objection to our CEC displaying the tilak on his forehead. First, Col. R Aima. No Col., I am afraid what you say needs to be rechecked. There is no instance of a couple of batches junior IAF or IN officer being an AVM or a Rear Admiral and an Army officer of a senior batch being just a Brig in the norml course. If this is due to the Army officer having been overlooked for the next rank well that's a different ball game. In fact such anomalous situation arose a few years back within the Army itself when ASC was two batches ahead and corps of engineers two batches behind the others in the matter of promotions. The net result was that an ASC officer of 1965 batch became a MG when an infantry officer of 63 and an Engineer officer of 62 batch was still a Brig only. The anomaly has now been corrected I believe.
Coming Kuldip Sandhu's worry about dilution of democratic or secular values because of Thiru Gopalswamy's forehead having a tilak on it, please relax Kuldip and shed your worries. Our secular, democratic values are safe inspite of the CEC's tilak just as these remained intact inspite of the ex CEC Sardar MS Gill's turban. I am sure turban was as much a visible symbol of the good Sardar's faith as tilak is of Thiru Gopalswamy's. Lets not get bogged down with these non-issues.

Oucome of the case will be watched with interest
Supreme Court has declined to stay the contempt proceedings against senior journalists of Mid Day for publishing articles aginst former Chief Justice alleging that he handled the case to advance business interests of businessman son and his friends and did not rescue himself from the case pertaining to unauthorised constructions in Delhi and orders for ceiling of properties because of conflict of interest as his son was having business dealings with developers of malls in Delhi. Delhi high Court taking suo motto cognizance of news articles started contempt proceeding and held the journalists guilty of lowering the dignity of the apex court by making insinuations against the former chief justice. As per the latest orders , the contemnor journalists are to be released on bail on being awarded punishment. Some former judges of the Supreme Court including ex Chief Justice JS Varma have openly come out in support of the journalists and have demanded an enquiry against" judicial misconduct". While sting operations against MPs cost the MPs dearly but judiciary has not taken kindly to medias unfavourable interpretation of their judgements . Outcome of this case will be watched with interest as it involves substantial questions like freedom of press, peoples right to know the truth . Safeguards aganst conflict of interest, limits to law of contempt etc.

Aaj KI Aawaz

As an atheist Karuna does not walk his bray!!
He's very superstitious insiders say!!!

Have you noticed the yellow shawl which he carries on his shoulder???
The yellow shawl stays on the shoulder even if it gets hotter or colder!!!

On one side he calls Ram a drunk and on the other side questions Ram's existence!!!
And for hurting religious sentiments he cares a pittance!!

In 1972 Karuna had written that Ram built the Setu to bring Sita back!!!
Now both Ram and Setu karr raha hai Karuna attack!!

Yes people in power do take themselves to be God!!!
And when they do this God uses the rod!!!

So Karuna will face divine retribution for his brays!!!
No one can mess with God every religion says!!

Commies too have joined the pro Sethusamundaram chant!!!
Demand that Sarkaar cannot say it can't!!!

And don't forget Commies don't believe in 'Neeli Chatri Waala'!!
Japthe hai siraf Marx aur Mao ki maala!!!

This is for sure in the next Government formation Maya, Naidu and Jaya will have a say!
And Congress for its Muslim fixation will pay!!!

Congress is now worried on account of its Ram Setu goof up!!
And its inability to tell its ally Karuna to shut up!!

BJP is doing chintan in Bhopal to decide on neeti and maybe Neta or Leader!!
And hope BJP clamps its indiscipline bleeder!!!

Politicians feel midterm polls will be held sooner than later!!!
And now for midterm elections they are preparing to cater!!!

All of a sudden many of them have appeared in their constituencies to show their faces!!!
Some will be greeted by Public with attitudes akin to Public brandishing maces!!!

Kakodkar had lunch in Viennna with IAEA Head and Commies back home suffered hear burn!!!
As they heard about the luncheon meeting their stomachs began to churn!!

Now they are demanding to know what transpired during this meeting,
They'd want to know what was served and discussed and even the welcome greeting!!

Actually Commies had wanted that a high ranking Commie Kakodkar ko karre accompany!!!
Like Betaal on Vikram's back in Vienna this Commie Kakodkar ko dethaa company!!

Then this Commie would have not only kept tabs but also worked like a fuse!!!
If Kakodkar did anything that looked like operationilizing Deal the Commie pressure tactics karta use!!

In Commie style the Commie on Kakodkar's back would raved and ranted and created a scene!!!
So that from any operationalizing step Kakodkar ho jaye wean!!!

Badal talks of three Thermal Power Plants but seems to be oblivious of coal woes!!!
In Punjab stocks of coal have been on historic lows!!

And what about transmission and distribution losses!!!
He needs to have a heart to heart with PSEB Bosses!!

Without plugging the leaks the Power generation is like putting water in a leaking ghadaa!!
In fact a ghadaa that has no thadaa ( bottom in Punjabi)!!!

Virk used Cats to grab property!!
Though the Cats were his personal property!!

KPS Gill says that Cats are above the law!!!
As a Cop he should plug for law taking its course and stop him pro Virk caw!!!

Don't know why Congress HC is not replacing Deshmukh!!
If midterm polls are held Congress will go to Voter with what mukh (face)!!

Farmers consider Deshmukh to be a Farmer hater!!!
After Deshmukh's anti farmer statement it was expected he'd be replaced sooner than later!!

Mid Day's journalists case raises the question who will judge the Judges???
And hope on this the Judiciary budges!!!

Judges cannot be above the law they strive to uphold!!!
Themselves as not being unquestionable they cannot hold!!!

All are equal in the eyes of Law!!!
Judges being above the law is a punch on Law's jaw!!

The rising Rupee is going to cause India a lot of pain!!!
And the Dollar is rising because of FII investment ki rain!!!

Think if there is a reversal and FII rain turns to drought!!!
And the FII investments start to move out!!!

Rupee will fall to the fifty mark ….. but seems PC's not looking at this!!!
Don't know why he's giving this reality the miss!!

It's said the Bull run is on its last leg and Bears will become active by year end!!!
To Rupee rising on account of ' easy come easy go' FII rain he needs to fend!!

Because of Sehwag budding youngsters have been overlooked!!!!
Now Sehawag's goose because of his dismal performance has been cooked!!

Give the budding youngsters a chance!!
And this should not be just a one match cursory glance!!

Sehwag's dismal performance was overlooked match after match!!!
Give such a chance to the new entrants batch!!

This one I end with….. Ramchandra kehe gaye Siya (Sita) se aisa kalyug aaye gaa,
Rajnithi mein ek kaale chashme waala mujh ko sharaabi boolaye gaa!!!

Ram continues…. Dharam bhi hogaa, karam bhi hogaa kintoo sharam nahi hogee,
Mujh pe ungli uttaye ga ek maya ka rogi!!!
