Pay Commission will look into ----

I sincerely hope that the 6th Pay Commission is seriously looking into the housing problem faced by Central Government Officers and is providing for leased accommodation as is being provided in Public Enterprises and Bank. Further, it should also look into revising the transfer and travel related allowances which are really meager and should be provided on actual.

SANT SARAN MANTRI

All this debate of IAS Vs.IRS Vs.IPS Vs.XYZ sounds ridiculous
1.The need of the hour is to promote meritocracy, honesty, efficiency and hard work and not to promote Cadres or Castes or regions so that the poor and destitute people of this country can look up to us for upliftment.
2.To promote efficiency it is imperative that the Government has the power to reward the efficient and punish the inefficient. Sadly this is grossly lacking.
3.To wake up the Babus, Government should allow lateral entry at all levels so that we are pitted against the best in the private sector.
4. At the same time Government should allow officers to go on 5 years stint to private sector, so that we can learn from actual problems faced by toiling business class.
5.There should be point system, anybody getting less than certain point should not go above say Director rank (For Group A service).
6. Government can also toy with the idea of a fast track officers cadre , where selected officers will get double the salary ,but can be fired any time , without assigning any reason. The best will opt for this kind of scheme.

An IRS officer

DO not judge GOIs working by one department

Meenakshi, very well said. There is no shortage of appropriate type of houses, at least in Delhi. It is the shoddy Directorate of Estates which is compounding the problem. House are allotted to non eligible persons, organisations as well as kept vacant for all sundry reasons. Please do not judge GoI's working by one of its worst departments

Aaj Ki Aawaz

Seems Rahul wants a young HRD Minister!!!!!!
This is also the stand of his sister!!!

So who replaces Arjun Singh???
He should be young, should be articulate and should have a good voice to sing!!!!

Sing…. he must be able to sing Sonia's praises in a sonorous voice!!!
Must be able to pledge his loyalty in a musical voice!!!

His duty will be to ensure that in every school and college this pledge cum praise song is sung!!!
And in every classroom Sonia's and Rahul's photo is hung!!!

Seems in this Arjun has been found lacking!!!!
So he's being sent off packing!!!

HRD Minister henceforth will mean Highnesses Respect Developing Minister or Mantri!!!!
Minister who has the commitment and mindset of a Santri!!!

Insiders say shortlist is ready and now only singing auditions have to take place!!!
And then we'll be told koun HRD Ministry karre ga grace!!!!

Sonia and Maya met over chai and cookies!!!!
But rapprochement is not possible as per odds being given by bookies!!!

Okay Congress is twisting her arm,
And warning her that if she does not ally with Congress she could come to harm!!!

But Maya realizes that Congress's and her vote bank is the same!!!!
So she understands Congress's game!!!

BJP and BSP make the ideal alliance as their vote banks are not the same!!!
And so each other electorally they cannot tame!!

Maya may play along with Sonia till elections are announced!!
Then make her move to ally with NDA because she knows UPA is going to get trounced!!

Post the general election UNPA will lose many allies,
At least two will renew with NDA their ties!!!

News from the Budget front is that PC is becoming an Asprin addict!!!
He has headaches everyday trying to meet Sonia's 'please common man' edict!!

He's positioned himself as the darling of the Corporates and now will have to change!!!
Because to please common man Corporates he'll have to shortchange!!!

He may use 'consolidation' terminology to get away!!!
Because this time Corporates ko Budget karre ga dismay!!!

Laloo too is in Railway Budget throes!!!
And with every passing day his kheni intake grows!!!

His diktat to the Budget preparers is 'make me vote ka saudagar'!!!!
This is in line with his philosophy ' sauda karr'!!!

As per Laloo's philosophy every human is purchasable!!!!
Only to find and time the trade off one should be able!!!

Nawaz and Zardari moving to center stage is not good for regional stability!!!
Both will cause in this region a lot of instability!!!

They'll keep the Army busy by creating Indo Pak tensions!!!
On Indo Pak ties during electioneering they've made mentions!!!

And what they've said is worrying ….. K is again going to be hyped!!!!
In capital KASHMIR in all internal and external communiqués will be typed!!!

Like I'd predicted Rupee has taken a tumble,
And now at Rs. 40 level rate will bumble!!!

Then Rupee will move in tandem with Sensex and Nifty!!!
FIIs are slowly but surely on flows into India becoming thrifty!!!

And remember Rupee's strength is not internal!!!
It's because of FII inflows and so external!!!!

Confucius says….. Keep any eye on the Dollar rate to predict Sensex's rise or fall!!!
In the Indian Market now shots the Dollar rate is going to call!!!
