Hope Pay Commission will do justice

Pay Commission must be extra cautious and transparent for finalising the pay scales for various levels- Under Secretary, Dy. Secretary, Director, Jt. Secretary, Adll. Secretary and Secretary to maintain their dignity and importance. Unnecessary clubbing of pay scales be avoided. Hope justice shall prevail.

Retire Them at 60

The debate on retirement age is very hot these days. In my opinion, to increase the retirement age of government employees from 60 to 62 years is not a wise step in view of the current rate of unemployment in the country. Some bureaucrats might have advocated before the Sixth Pay Commission that by increasing the retirement age, the government shall be able to postpone its pension liability for 2 years. But what about the huge salary expenditure, which shall be incurred for 2 years on lakhs of government employees. Besides, the biggest loss shall be for the lakhs of graduates/ postgraduates who will have to wait for 2 years for jobs. So, it is in the interest of the nation to superannuate the government employees at the age of 60.

The system need young generation

The system need young generation. More you increase the age the more lethargic your system is going to be. No doubt, experience counts but the system also needs innovative ideas, speed and also smartness. There is lot of frustration in Govt service due to 60 years retirement age. People who are supposed to get promotion are just staring at the Govt decisions and their frustration continues. System needs energy, for which 55 years would be more appropriate.

Sanjeev Devchowdhury

Age should not be raised

Retirement ka age bilkul nahi badna chahiye, balki use ghatana chahiye. Life expectancy bhale hi jyada ho gaya ho, lekin isse berojgari bahut jyada bad jayegi,Jo log mehanat karke upar badna chahta hai, use bahut nirasha hogi kyunki nai bharti to lagbhag band hi ho jayege...

Om Sudha Kumar

They should realize the truth

When some officers shirk work / responsibility and indulge in back biting and posing themselves as superior above all, leads to bye pass them in public interest. They should realise the truth before blame game. They should learn to respect the chair and dedicate themselves to truth, sincerety and wastage of precious time. They should also place themselves in the responsible citizen before citicising.

Raise in retirement age will help Congress

Raising the retirement age to 62 and then to 65 will help Congress to garner the votes of both the older generation as well as the younger generation. After all ,if papa gets another 2 years the younger generation also get another 2 years of fun and frolic at papas expense.Besides in western countries the retirement age is 65 and they get the maximum out of their employees by making them work till they drop dead. Why cant our govrnment do the same? THE BODIES OF DEAD GOVRNMENT EMPLOYEES CAN BE CREMATED IN MASS FUNERALS , BATCH -WISE, LIKE GOVRNMENT SPONSERED MASS WEDDINGS.THIS WILL GO A LONG WAY IN PREVENTING DEFORESTATION AND BY PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT WILL ALSO SAVE THE TIGER FROM EXTINCTION.

D Choudhury

Services should be utilized without any authority

Most of the Officers over 55 years of age are found to be brain-dead, arrogant and interested only in availng benefits of Government Service, without responsibility. Instead of extending retirement age, services of able officers with proven merit should be utilised as Consultants, Members of Task Forces, Advisory Committees, etc., without any authority.

G Rao

Government has no option but to increase retirement age

I think this would be the right course of action by the Government. Even if the revised pay scales which are being circulated for the VIth Pay Commission, will be accepted, there may not be many to take up employement in the Govt so Govt has no option but to increase retirement age to keep the experienced person and delaying payment of increased pensions to already retired and would be retiring persons.

If you can undertake field work and love Congress,
Doesn't matter if you drink or don't or if in Khadi you do not dress!!!

If you can be a sycophant and tend to follow diktats!!!
Then Rahul Baba requests you to throw into the ring your hats!!

Rahul wants young foot soldiers and he's embarking on a talent hunt!!!
Incumbents will get to see Indian as from State to State they'll have to shunt!!

And if you exceed in sycophancy you will be promoted to the next rung in Congress!
Right to the President's Office you could progress!!

So sky is the limit once you agree to be an obedient spoon!!!
Rahul Baba is promising the moon!!

What use is talent when in Congress its sycophancy that makes one rise???
Sycophants get plum Party and Government posts as a prize!!!

If Rahul wants talent then High Command (HC) has to take an inclusive approach!!!
Congressman differing with HC's views should not be treated like a cockroach!!!

The Farm loan waiver will not make Congress laugh to the vote bank????
Because Opposition Parties have been crying themselves hoarse as Farmers in debt sank!!

Congress is worried that this waiver may not have the desired outcome!!!
It's going to be 'you win some and loose some'!!!

Pawar has got his Party ready to celebrate the minute PC makes this announcement!!
Fire crackers and drums will commence the minute PC make the pronouncement!!

Then Pawar will got to the Public and say ' we started to celebrate first'!!!
As PC spoke crackers we first burst!!!

Sonia's Kisan Darshan continues and selected Kisans are paraded outside her house!!
Prior to mobilization they reject anyone with a Sonia or Congress grouse!!

How can Farmers forget Vilasrao's barb…. that Farmers were lazy and greedy???
Hayden's remark actually suits Deshmukh ' obnoxious and weedy'!!!!

The actual indicator of Farmer's plight is the decline in farm growth!!!!
As per Economic Survey shows only 2.6 % growth something we all should loathe!

And let me assure you this figure is window dressed (actually is lower)!!!
Because to show some growth the Sarkaar is hard pressed!!

Tomorrow is going to be PC's day in the House!!!
My guess is that Corporates will have a lot to grouse!!!

This is going to be a Budget to hypnotize the Common Man!!!
To do so PC's going to do everything he can!!!

My feeling is that post Budget on the Indian Market the Bear's hug will tighten!!
Though there are quite a few who say outlook will brighten!!

Don't forget we are one monsoon failure away from an economic downturn!!!!
Economy will then take a literal U Turn!!!

Practically in all projects there are planning disconnects and cost overruns!!!!
No wonders people lament ' This Country God runs'!!!

Out of every Rupee only eight paisa reaches the cause and rest is pilfered or lost!!
And all this at the Country's cost!!

If you ask me India 's economy is like a 'bottomless ghadaa'!!!
And you know what happens when something does not have a thadaa (base)???

Laloo says Railways is cash surplus but still looks for budgetary support???
So you can understand his 25,000 crore cash surplus purport!!!

Rising prices pinch but Government inflation figures say inflation has dropped!!!
Nothing will improve till this window dressing is not stopped!!

Speaking of the Railway Budget…. Passengers beware before you celebrate!!!
Before you celebrate please do deliberate!!!

The fare cuts have many riders like time and season!!!
If you ask me to celebrate passengers have no reason!!

Confucius says….. Railway Budget is like Mungeri Lal ka haseen dream!!!!
After the fine print is read this is what Laloo's Budget will seem!!
