Aaj Ki Aawaz
The Red's decision to withdraw support is caught up in red tape!!!!
Just a few days they were saying they've got the Sarkaar by its nape!!
Now they say withdrawing support is a tedious job!!!!
Only after a tedious process relationship they will hob!!!
There's been a change in the terms of their threat!!!
Now it seems if Manmohan or Manu goes to Tokyo they will only fume and fret!!
They will not take this as 'going ahead with the Deal'!!!
They now say only when Government approaches IAEA let down they'll feel!!
Commies basically don't know what to do!!!
Fact is they've lost mooh!!!
Manu says he was sure that Commies would pull the plug!!!
Was he sure that SP would give UPA a friendly hug????
Seems he came to know about this from Laloo's soothsaying cow!!!
And seems it's the Cow that's now told him ' IAEA ke paas jao' (go to IAEA)!!!
When he knew what Commies were going to pull the plug why did he not act earlier???
He just twiddled his thumbs as Commies got surlier and surlier!!
And just see how SP has tried to justify change in its stand on the Deal!!!
They say 'As Kalam says Deal is good so good about the Deal we also feel'!!
Kalam had been saying all along that Deal was good!!!
But seems at that time SP was just not in the mood!!!
SP knew all along that for India the Deal was good,
But this did not matter as on the other side of the political fence SP stood!!
As you can see our Politicians can change their stands at the drop of a hat!!!!
And after doing a volte face apni back ko verbally karte hai pat!!
They can make a horse into a donkey,
Or a human into a monkey!!!!
Amar Singh's head is already bloated!!!
Journalists who met him said on cloud nine he floated!
He's back to giving ludicrous stories to bolster his and Mulayam's image!!!
Apna old tricks ka bag karr raha hai rummage!!
Like now he says BJP offered to make Mulayam PM!!!!
Seems at that time Mulayam refused because he wanted to be UP's CM (sic)!!!
If BJP had made this offer Mulayam would have grabbed it with both hands and feet!!!
And would have applied Fevicol on his tashreef or seat!!!
Amar Singh is now working on how to make Sonia look like she's begging for SP's aid!!
Wants to show that first step for dosti by Congress was made!!
Mulayam is to meet PM and Sonia to finalise 'support Deal'!!!!
With Amar's presence how will Manu and Sonia deal????
Will Sonia give Amar the royal ignore again?????
And rest assured Amar is going to enjoy every bit of Sonia's discomfiture pain!!!
Inflation is rising and now Montek has done a volte face!!!
He says high inflation for the rest of 2008 Indians will face!!!
Recall just a week back he had prophesised that inflation would tumble!!!
Seems he got his calculations wrong as figures kiye Montek ne jumble!!!
Now via ads UPA is going justify inflation to us!!!!
Objective of ads….. for high inflation UPA ko don't karro cuss!!
Ads will say inflation is a world phenomena and beyond Sarkaar's control!!
Whereas fact is that in inflation spurting in India Sarkaar has a big role!!!
And standing in the 'inflation hall of shame' are Manu, PC and Pawar!!!
Because of these three padh rahi hai humm ko inflation ki maar!!!
Please don't forget in Manu's case the puppet handler is also to blame!!!!
And Sonia Gandhi is handlers name!!!
Pawar was too busy with BCCI as Indian agriculture scene went from bad to worse!!!
And then imports of food grains turned out to be a curse!!
PC refused to take any step that would bring Stock Market down!!!!
And with useless measures kiya PC ne clown!!
Manu the economist should have known better!!!!
If he was scared to speak up he could have sent his Boss a warning anonymous letter!!!
But Manu preferred to play along and enjoy his stay at 7 Race Course!!!!
Not bothering to offer advice for an economy that had gone badly off course!!
Confucius says…….. When good people prefer to keep quite and play along!!!
Right is beaten black and blue by wrong!!!
Fash....Commies have written to Pranab Da on the Deal and asked for a reply by 07 July!!!
Pranab Da should say that by end September he will reply!!!
Pranab Da should say that it will take time for him to come up with a reply!!!!
First to all the Allies he'll have to apply!!!
Pranab Da should say the Allies will respond in August!!!!
To an extension of the 7 July deadline is a must!!!
SP will extend outside support and will enjoy indirect power!!!!
Mulayam and Amar will take baton from Karat and Yechury and on UPA will tower!!!
As I see it for the Sarkaar to survive UPA is calling SP Baap!!!
UPA will say for Country's future they are doing this paap!!!
I am sure Amar Singh is going to say for secularism's sake SP is supporting UPA!!!
And this the the sob story that SP is going to give to UNPA!!!

It is a matter of national shame
It is a national disgrace and a matter of deep national shame that there were no high level government representatives at Field Marshall Sam Maneckshaws recent funeral. The President of India who is the Commander -in - Chief of the Armed Forces too was conspicuous by her absence. Even the Defense Minister was absent. Remember him at NDA being carried like a newly wed bride by a handsome army officer? Where was the Defense Secretary and the PM and the UPA Chairman? If the Congress was not bad enough the BJP was worse. Where was Advani with his shrill rhetoric? And that irritating man with the nasal monotone Rajnath Singh? Have you ever wondered why the politicians cold shouldered the ever green and immensely popular Maneckshaw? Recall the story, Maneckshaw himself once narrated long after retirement. The day after the Emergency was declared Indira Gandhi summoned him to her office. Sanjay Gandhi was there and did all the talking while Indira looked away and was busy filing her nails. Sanjay told the General that he wanted the army to take over power in a coup and arrest all the opposition leaders. Maneckshaw replied directly to Indira Gandhi , ignoring Sanjay, and said that if he were to do as suggested it would blacken the reputation of her father Jawaharlal Nehru. Indira said nothing and neither Indira nor the Congress forgave Maneckshaw for not collaborating . The BSF and the CRPF and the police were widely misused all over India to enforce the Emergency. So why did the ultra nationalist BJP leaders all kept away from the funeral? It is because the Congress shamelessly claimed all the credit for what was really a brilliant victory by our Armed Forces in the Bangladesh war. Hundreds of officers and jawans died and were crippled in that war . Not a single politician was either killed or crippled in that war. Shame on all our hypocritical politicians for being so ungrateful to a great hero and being so shabby to a man even in death.

How many people pay taxes happily ?
The clichéd expression that Income Tax department is corrupt has more to do with a largely prevalent grouse against payment of taxes, however little or legitimate. Tell me, have you ever seen any body happily paying taxes ? The more pernicious elements behind the perception are (a )the IAS, who largely fear that their territory could be poached by an equally independent and enterprising set of administrators, (b) the political set up, who would thrive on inter service skirmishes (c) the home grown and home bred IRS, who take to bitching either as a congenital condition or as a pay back to an unyielding system or simply to settle scores in a personal vedetta situation. So next time you have Nihar Khan diatribing, ask him whose agenda he is holding forth!!!

Why to be green?
I think the urban civilization has taken a full circle and it is here Gandhism has become more relevant than what it was 50 years ago. At that time it was fogged by glamour of industrial revolution and no one thought that industrial revolution and resultant pollution etc is going to be self destructive. Yesterday, I was reading a foreign magazine and it was very nicely written about how we can become green. What to say of other things the environmental cost of even one liter water bottle in terms of transportation etc was quite eye opening. An individual calculates the cost in term of money but we forget to calculate in terms of environment. Where it was bottled then transported (bio fuel) then plastic etc. It is very simple to understand the meaning of green. Green means to be organic, environment friendly and to spend minimum energy i.e. bio fuel etc. In short to be green means, to live in the maximum harmony with nature. On this parameter everything whether over extraction of ground water or arid farming etc need to be analyzed. To be green, it was vehemently opposed that the efforts done by Israel to irrigate baron land is nothing but putting too much pressure on the under ground water for a smaller gains of agriculture i.e. food which could be internationally procured. This environmental consciousness has erased the national boundaries. We will have to think how to utilize this planet to match our needs spending minimum energy and disturbing this planet minimum so that it remains sustainable. The way entire thing is happening, god forbid, in our own time, we will face maximum impact and the habitability of this planet will end. Let us understand clearly that industrialization is going to disturb and finally destroy this planet. Accordingly, we should start switching ourselves to natural life style or living in total synchronization with nature. Ultimately again village self sufficient economy envisaged by Gandhiji will be the only sustainable alternate for the world. How long urban clusterisation will stand on its own when for every basic thing we are so much dependent on nature. How long will it take to convert these big rivers in to sewage and then disturbing its irrigation potential which ultimately will undermine the agricultural production? The under ground water is going to show its shortage, much before we finish the bio fuel. What will we do with these gadgets when we have lost the habitability of this planet? The way we are monetizing natural resources and spending it in multiple volumes merely because of our life style, I am quite afraid of proceeding towards dead end. The simpler the life, village type life with minimum dependency on energy is key to the longevity of human civilization.
