One of the best sites I have seen for Central Government officers. It would be better if you could add a forum for other Government employees also.

FORUM
What about retirement age?
Cheers for Dr Manmohan Singh and Sonia-ji. As said in the forum the other day, PM has given a great deal by way of pay to civil servants. This is one great news after the 5 day week and the office car given by Rajiv Gandhi. The civil service [except for a restless impatient few] are now waiting to hear about the age extension to 65.
A poor civil servant [no more poor]

2/CGHS hospitals
Its regarding CGHS- hope the Minister has some time for the pensioners.
There is too much chaos in CGHS dispensaries. Pensioners are by and large physically weak, infirm and need immediate attention. But the system is so cumbersome that the old legs have to wander around for 2 to 3 hours per visit. Is this proper? All pensioners be allowed to see doctors in OPDs of Hospitals, Nursing Homes, etc which are on the panel without any referrals. This would alleviate the burden on CGHS.
Once diagnosed or seen, the medicines can be had from the Dispensaries. There should be separate counters for Pensioners. The practice of giving just months medicines despite having been prescribed by Specialists for say four months. In old age, some medicines have to continue for endless period. And to come every week and spends 3 hours is painful for old pensioners. Cant system be made more helpful? The Computerized cards should have been made by now. But all forms, we learn are just pending.
Will the Minister see our plight? Does he witness this site?
