Congress still way ahead on the national horizon
Just in case the Indian Prime Minister Dr.Man Mohan Singh decides to quit & go ahead with early polls to the Lok Sabha then it is being felt that the Congress will improve its tally in at least four states where the main opposition Bhartiya Janata Party(BJP) is in power. As of now BJP has got 70 MPs out of 90 MPs in the Lok Sabha from states of Madhya Prdesh,Rajasthan,Delhi & Chhattisgarh while number of Congress MPs is 20.In these states BJP's tally would decline & the Congress is bound to gain. Just to refresh the memory of our surfers BJP had suffered a set back during the 1991 Lok Sabha polls when the party had fought the polls on the issue of constructing Lord Rama's temple in Ayodhya. As far Uttar Pradesh is concerned there the BJP's tally is likely to improve. The trouble area for Congress lies in Andhra Pradesh & Karnataka.

Aaj Ki Aawaz

To Rajanth Singh Sonia made a call!!!
What she needed was to take 'a call'!!!

Jammu is boiling and it's the Sarkaar that is to blame!!!
Fire created by Congress of 'create a fire and then douse it' fame!!!!

Congress has the expertise to create strife and then control it for political gains!!!
And in this Congress has smeared itself with quite a few stains!!

The Amar connection is going to inflict more damage on Congress's image!!!
The connection has just started its damage!!!

And it'll end with Amar doing a sting on Congress!!!
Congressmen should be ready for this and so all should appropriately dress!!!!

Basically Congress is now associated with scum!!!
Will Rahul advise his Mum????

Or may be it's Rahul who has okayed this SP connection!!!
At least this is my contention!!!

Rahul 's pitch is in UP Congress cannot make any progress alone!!!!
What Rahul needs to understand is that on its own Congress has to atone!!!

UP has written off Congress as in UP Congress has shown it has no Neta or neeti!!!
With Congress this is UP Public's aap beeti!!!

Congress may try to ride on the back of a croc or SP and we all know what croc's do!!!
Croc SP will do the same to Congress too!!!

Right in majhdhaar SP will throw Congress of its back!!!
And then Congress ko karre ga SP croc attack!!!

On the Vote for dough matter!!!!
The accusation dossier just got fatter!!!!

Why is IBN not airing the sting or has Rajdeep developed cold feet?????
Or is he looking for a Rajya Sabha seat????

Journalism's cardinal rule is bringing all findings into the Public domain!!!
Why then should this sting CD in the CD cover remain????

Why is Rajdeep flouting this cardinal rule?????
Or 'CD for Rajya Sabha seat' has made him someone's mule?????

Mulayam, Laloo and Paswan have ganged up!!!
And say that the cash for vote CD is a BJP gupp!!!

They say after the money was delivered why was the matter not reported to the cops!!!!
Fact is then the Government would ensure that the sting flops!!!

In the House the vote was to take place!!!!
And the House was the apt place to unmask the Congress and SP's face!!!!

Very rightly on Setusamundram SC has taken Karuna and Balu to task!!!
Why shouldn't contempt of Court proceedings not be initiated SC ne kiya hai ask????

In Public Karuna should also be made to wash his gob!!!!
On his name he'll always have ' Ram never existed' glob!!!!

And Ram does not need a certificate from Karuna who is a nobody!!!!!!
Just because he's a politician in this matter does not make him a somebody!!!!

Expect a dismal growth rate though RBI Guv Reddy expects 8 plus!!!!
If you ask me India 's already missed the bus!!!!

If there's a spurt in oil Markets will fall like nine pins!!!!
Wipe out all the optimistic know all grins!!!!

Spending in India has already taken a beating!!!!!
With difficulty living expenses many households are meeting!!!

Confucius says…… in such times money saved is money earned!!!!
And wasteful expenditure is money burned!!!

FORUM
LET THE STATUS QUO CONTINUE
The anonymous suggestion to formatise the 'Forum' into four categories: corruption, 6th CPC,IRS transfers and retirement age is absurd.Let us not confuse this site with the Print media! This will only dilute the present all-inclusive character of this site. The four categories as cited above are not the end-all and be-all of the world! There are far more important issues confronting the country and crying for attention. These need to be addressed on priority through public debate of this famous website. So, in the nutshell, let the status quo continue.Let this famous website continue to encourage healthy debate on all important matters .Let the no-holds-barred battle of wits continue as hitherto!I also contribute to print media.But. my first preference continues to be this website because of its specially targetted clientele covering the GOI, theState govt, public sector, private sector and last but not the least, the politics of convenience!

Promotions in DOT

In DOT, the promotions of ITS officers are taking place up to SAG level. However when it comes to higher level (SAG to HAG), the case is understood to being shuttle cocked.

IFS officers promotions

This is regarding IFS officers promotions. My friend if that is a case then no services deserve any promotions. After even 60 years of independence economic , educational & social backwardness is clerly evident in thousands of villages.Law & order situation in the country is still poor despite substantial improvement in infrastructure and staff.Besides coverage of poorest of poor under various welfare schemes is par below. So where is the improvement ?Depletion in forest cover is also there because of development & other extreme biotic pressure.

MHA & its apathy

It is very sad that MHA, which preaches a lot to state governments on the issue of improving law and order as well as security scenario, works very opposite IN DELHI. The MHA is responsible for law and order of Union Territories .The India Reserve Battalions, which have been raised on the suggestion of MHA by different states and financed by MHA, are totally absent in Delhi. So far MHA has not even taken the decision to fill up 20 sanctioned posts of Commandants/Dy Commandants by promoting officers from DANIPS cadre.
Even for common wealth games, two posts of DCsP were created by MHA but they are lying vacant because MHA has not promoted Delhi Police officers to occupy these posts. DANIPS officers, who are at the mercy of MHA, are the most adversely affected police officers in India. Since MHA controls their service matters, they are not getting even the very first promotion in their career after putting more than 23 years of service. I appeal to MHA to see this acute problem as cadre controlling authority to improve the morale of Delhi Police

Rakesh Mohan -a "Suitable boy"

Dr. Rakesh Mohan deserves this post. Those who have worked with him are very confident that he is a perfect choice for the post.

CNN-IBN's reasons for not airing CD

CNN IBN reasons for not airing the tapes are not difficult to know... Anil Ambani controlled Reliance Capital owns equity stake in the controlling and group companies TV 18, IBN, GBN etc.

Ban on recruitments & retirement age

You see, for the last about one decade, there has been a complete ban on fresh recruitments, which is likely to continue for another one decade also as the target is to reduce the staff level substantially owing to lesser needs of workforce due to computerisation and e-governance. On the other hand, due to longevity and prospects of better living leading to improving the health level etc, it appears to be too early to hang the shoes at the age of sixty. People retiring at this age invariably flood the market and get absorbed in the private sector pretty faster due to their rich experiences, committed loyalties and meagre demands, which ultimately affects the employment prospects of younger generation that neither gets a job in govt nor in the private sector as plum jobs are lapped up by people retiring at sixty, who can easily work there for the next upto 10 years. In this process, when the govt has already absolved itself of the role as an employment provider and left the jot to private sector, the prospects of new entrants are dwindling day by day. In these circumstances, it is beneficial both for the govt and the younger generation that the govt should increase the retirement age and the private sector jobs are left entirely for the younger generation and older people will also be able to contribute their strength and experience to the govt for some more time. This should also be politically suitable for parties whereby employment potential will increase drastically for younger people as well as welfare of the older generation will also get a boost. The economic aspects of this issue will also be in general public interest and catalytic to control inflation and augmentation of infrastructure, etc, resulting in the social life and industrial production. This can change the basic level of our economy as a whole in the next five years or so. Keeping all these factors in view, raising a the age of superannuation will be an appropriate step and well in time...
