Ki Aawaz To Rajanth Singh Sonia made a call!!! They say after the money was delivered why was the matter not reported
to the cops!!!! In the House the vote was to take place!!!! Very rightly on Setusamundram SC has taken Karuna and Balu to task!!! Bharat Kumar FORUM LET THE STATUS QUO CONTINUE The anonymous suggestion to formatise the 'Forum' into four categories: corruption, 6th CPC,IRS transfers and retirement age is absurd.Let us not confuse this site with the Print media! This will only dilute the present all-inclusive character of this site. The four categories as cited above are not the end-all and be-all of the world! There are far more important issues confronting the country and crying for attention. These need to be addressed on priority through public debate of this famous website. So, in the nutshell, let the status quo continue.Let this famous website continue to encourage healthy debate on all important matters .Let the no-holds-barred battle of wits continue as hitherto!I also contribute to print media.But. my first preference continues to be this website because of its specially targetted clientele covering the GOI, theState govt, public sector, private sector and last but not the least, the politics of convenience! A K SAXENA(A retired civil servant) Promotions in DOT In DOT, the promotions of ITS officers are taking place up to SAG level.
However when it comes to higher level (SAG to HAG), the case is understood
to being shuttle cocked. Rajeev Agrawal This is regarding IFS officers promotions. My friend if that is a case
then no services deserve any promotions. After even 60 years of independence
economic , educational & social backwardness is clerly evident in
thousands of villages.Law & order situation in the country is still
poor despite substantial improvement in infrastructure and staff.Besides
coverage of poorest of poor under various welfare schemes is par below. So
where is the improvement ?Depletion in forest cover is also there because
of development & other extreme biotic pressure. Deepak Shrivastava 6th pay panel & GOM Shahnawaz Ahmed
MHA & its apathy It is very sad that MHA, which preaches a lot to state governments
on the issue of improving law and order as well as security scenario,
works very opposite IN DELHI. The MHA is responsible for law and order
of Union Territories .The India Reserve Battalions, which have been
raised on the suggestion of MHA by different states and financed by
MHA, are totally absent in Delhi. So far MHA has not even taken the
decision to fill up 20 sanctioned posts of Commandants/Dy Commandants
by promoting officers from DANIPS cadre. DK Rakesh Mohan -a "Suitable boy" Dr. Rakesh Mohan deserves this post. Those who have worked with him
are very confident that he is a perfect choice for the post. Ratnapriya Chakraborty CNN-IBN's reasons for not airing CD CNN IBN reasons for not airing the tapes are not difficult to know...
Anil Ambani controlled Reliance Capital owns equity stake in the controlling

You see, for the last about one decade, there has been a complete ban
on fresh recruitments, which is likely to continue for another one decade
also as the target is to reduce the staff level substantially owing
to lesser needs of workforce due to computerisation and e-governance.
On the other hand, due to longevity and prospects of better living leading
to improving the health level etc, it appears to be too early to hang
the shoes at the age of sixty. People retiring at this age invariably
flood the market and get absorbed in the private sector pretty faster
due to their rich experiences, committed loyalties and meagre demands,
which ultimately affects the employment prospects of younger generation
that neither gets a job in govt nor in the private sector as plum jobs
are lapped up by people retiring at sixty, who can easily work there
for the next upto 10 years. In this process, when the govt has already
absolved itself of the role as an employment provider and left the jot
to private sector, the prospects of new entrants are dwindling day by
day. In these circumstances, it is beneficial both for the govt and
the younger generation that the govt should increase the retirement
age and the private sector jobs are left entirely for the younger generation
and older people will also be able to contribute their strength and
experience to the govt for some more time. This should also be politically
suitable for parties whereby employment potential will increase drastically
for younger people as well as welfare of the older generation will also
get a boost. The economic aspects of this issue will also be in general
public interest and catalytic to control inflation and augmentation
of infrastructure, etc, resulting in the social life and industrial
production. This can change the basic level of our economy as a whole
in the next five years or so. Keeping all these factors in view, raising
a the age of superannuation will be an appropriate step and well in
time... S.G.Raoot |
